  • The Amazing Spiderman 36

Hi there, can anyone point me in the direction of where to find an image involving the emergency workers of 9-11 and the superheroes of spiderman etc standing in the issue. Its from the amazing spiderman issue 36.... its such a powerful image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Depends what you mean by Image. If you get "best of spider-man" volume 1 (HB) then the image is in there providing you have access to a scanner. If you mean online I'm not sure it exists. I'd send it to you myself but for two things

    1. I'm REALLY not confertable on teh copyright side of scanning it.

    and
    2. I don't actually HAVE a scanner.
oterh than that, sorry can't help further.
    Phaze,
on the "Bed-time now (2:05 am), g'night folks" ID
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

I can't say anything about a signed, limited copy but I've seen regular copies go for anywhere from $5 to $35 on Ebay. More if it's a CBC rated.

        Hope that helps,

That's actually quite a philosophical question, with many possible answers.

On the basis of the answer "it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it", you could have a look around and see if you can find anyone who's sold/is selling something similar, for comparison.

I have to agree; a book is only worth, say, $100 if you can find somebody to pay $100 for it. There is also some question about whether or not getting a book signed actually brings down the value of a mint copy of a book, but again that's very subjective. Personally I think it has to do with whose signature it is. For example, I can't see that having a book signed by Jack Kirby could possibly bring down its value, but sometimes purists can be a bit strange.
