  • JMS Interview on Comixfan

New interview with JMS is up now with some samples of the upcoming Silver Surfer mini art and some pages of Colleen's art.

I'm beginning to wonder about the 'powers and principalities' thing after seeing the BoLS #6 cover which is stunning as usual.

    MJ & Peter's marriage

JMS: "As for his marriage to MJ, it's a relationship that I've enjoyed writing. I think the reason other writers don't enjoy writing their relationship is that they may be uncomfortble writing two people who are actually in love with each other and romantic...so they go for conflict and argument and "why can't you be more supportive of me, boo-hoo" writing, and I've never really cared for that kind of characterization. MJ and Peter have come through the fires together, and they're more confident with one another as a result. I find that enjoyable to write, and very appealing."

Some of the best stories in ASM involve Peter and MJ's interaction/marriage. I find these stories very enjoyable to read. I hope they don't split up.

    Thank you, JMS.

And, thank you, Jan, for posting the interview.
"I am just a worthless liar. I am just an embecile. I will only complicate you, trust in me and fall as well. I will find a center in you; I will chew it up and leave. I will work to elevate you, just enough to bring you down. Why can't we drink forever? I just want to start this over!" TOOL

Happy to. And always glad to see more sample pages of Colleen's work. #6 is looking awfully interesting already. And let me tell you, the folks at work were *really* surprised to see an angel on my computer screen!
