I have seen this movie for the first time rescently and it looks to me like this was the first b5 movie even b4 the series, well its that or the make up crew got drunk on there job for the whole movie.

anyone got any other thoughts??

yeah well I ate to see delenn just like that. As for make up, i recall seeing on first season dvd they would not get centaury hair right til seacon season.. well also takashima is not right.. It seems it has similar lines as ivanova but claudi christian does it so much better.. worse thing i remember are the chairs.. i look at them and can't imagine those chairs in b5.. they never got the chairs thing straight though.. then by the time they got to crusade they new all their stuff but it was already too late.. that's like when you finally start enjoying your life (aka when you retire) you die.

At least the movie version is better than the original aired pilot. I got that on VHS a while ago. It is hard to believe the show got picked up after the original version was aired.

I remember watching it at the age of 10. I was going in and out of sleep because of it being played so late and it was long and boring Whereas now it's seems more interesting

I actually didnt mind the minbari appearance, or the Centauri. G'kar looked a bit square. I also agree, However, that the Minbari appearance in the series is more calming and easy on the eyes (sorry its the best way I could describe it.) I was glad that the Eath Force uniforms got leather trim when the series picked up, they didnt look too great in the pilot. just appearances I guess were what really bothered me, the appearances of each character evolved and got better . . . I could've cared less about the sets LOL.

I kinda liked the flak jackets from the pilot more than the series. The foam padding looked more believable than leather strips with a twist, but I'll stop before it appears I'm nitpicking.
