I think, since story ideas are against the rules here, this probably isn't the place to start an RPG. People are welcome to post links as suggestions for you here, though.

What is an "RP" or "RPG"?

Role Playing Game. In games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Rifts, and the Babylon 5 one, you create your character and give him or her a background and various skills, attributes, and ethical allignment (such as Chaotic good, Miscreant, Lawful good, to name a few). One person is the Game Master or GM. He or she creates the beginning and end of the storyline that your character and other characters other people created take part in. You then fill in the middle. The sourcebooks provide background information for the universe you play in, offer character types you can choose, lists of weapons, skills, magic, etc. Some other books create specific storylines where the GM can make use of, and the gamers then play out their own experience.

The gamers essentially play out their character, but when an encounter with an enemy happens, the gamer then rolls some dice for response, action, and damage. The dice used in RPGs are 4 sided, 6 sided, 8 sided, 10 sided, 12 sided, and 20 sided.

Game night can go on for hours, sustenance consisting mostly of pizza, soda, or other food stuffs under the label "junk food"

The Mongoose Publishing Role Playing Game is FAR superior to the old Chameleon Eclectic Babylon Project game. Much better in every aspect, I believe.
