Unfortunately, it turned out that even at those bookstores "Summoning Light:The Passing Of The Techno-mages, book 2" is out of stock!
I ordered it yesterday, everything seemed fine, but they sent me an email today apologizing and issuing a refund!
Just how can the second book of a trilogy be out of stock everywhere while the 1st and 3rd are numerous, I cannot understand...

I have found all JMS approved books even "Invoking Darkness". Only "Summoning Light" isn't sure, but maybe I'm lucky and get it tomorrow.

Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.Comment

But this conserns a little:Latest news.
1. All going well, there will be a special preview edition of the first Babylon 5 novel, Visions of Peace, available at the Babylon 5 Open Day. Numbers will be _very_ limited, and this edition will not be reprinted (the cover will be noticeably different from the general release).
2. All novels will be 100% canon.
3. The full range of novels will begin release in July/August - I am still waiting to hear an exact date. The first month of release will see four novels, the second month another two. I am waiting confirmation of releases beyond that point.
4. I have already read part of Miss Christian's novel and I can now officially call it 'Most Excellent'.
5. We have recently initiated talks with another Babylon 5 actor who has expressed an interest in writing a new novel.
6. Work has started on tying up Crusade. . .

But its not a big deal for me. Not everything has to be JMS approved (afterall B5 is fiction). If price is good i'm looking forward to novels, i hope CC knows the B5 universe and knows how to write.Nothing from Mr Straczynski. Agree. Like i said i hope CC knows what to write (meaning she knows B5 universe and does her research well) and how to write (meaning she has enough writing talent to write interesting novel).
Matthew Sprange said that there will be total of 6 novels coming out in July/August so rest of 5 are hopefuly written by professional writers. Can't say i'm totally happy with that amount of novels, i hope they don't sacrifice quality over quantity.Comment

Well, they say that they're in talks with another actor. That, I think, is indicative of the folly that will bring this series down. One actor being a good writer...okay, sure. Unless the books are approved by Fiona Avery at the very least, that statement is pretty useless coming from WB. Yes, they're licensed but that doesn't make them canon.2. All novels will be 100% canon.
Time will tell.
