Since we've got the obligatory thread going for people to complain about scratched disks and packaging, let's use this thread to discuss the content of the DVD set.
I got mine on Tuesday and watched all three commentaries, JMS' introduction, the Celestial Sounds short and the No Surrender, No Retreat Suite. That last just blew me away. There's the new music Christopher Franke wrote and they did a music video with it. Very nice! I think John Hudgen's videos might be a tad better than this, but that might not be fair since I watched his on a much larger screen.
As usual, I'm less than thrilled by the actor's commentary. They barely even discuss the episode and, when they do, it's obvious that they don't really know what's happening in the episode/story.
On the other hand, I like JMS' commentaries and really enjoyed the one he did with Mike Vejar.
The gag reel seemed a little skimpy to me but was still fun to see. Instead of hiding it this time, it's in with the data files. In the place where they used to hide the bloopers, they've got a rather cool short of a split screen showing an early CGI file of the station consisting of just shapes next to the same view of the station after all of the details and textures have been added. Very cool and I liked the way they panned along the entire station.
So, what do the rest of you think?
