    IMDb.com is your friend: Amy Yasbeck and John Ritter married in 1999.

    I'm sad to think that people didn't recognize her! Of course she was pretty well known for her role on "Wings," as well as loads of 1990s tv - but to me, she'll always be Maid Marian in "Robin Hood: Men in Tights."

    Amy Yasbeck was married to John Ritter? I didn't know that. I remember her from when she was on Wings.

    I had to look it up because I don't think they introduced her as anything other than 'Amy' and it was during her talk that I realized that she was John Ritter's widow.

    For anybody interested in more information about aortic aneurysms, check out http://www.pulitzer.org/year/2004/ex...porting/works/ for the award winning articles by Kevin Helliker and Thomas M. Burton. These are highly readable articles, not dry medicalese. Melissa Gilbert mentioned, too, that people who are adopted and who have no family medical history to call on, should especially consider getting the scan for possible aneurysms.

    Rick Biggs Condition

    Its great that people could give their time and energy to support the Biggs family. I was shocked to hear how Richard died, especially at a relatively young age.
    I just read this comment;
    "John Ritter's widow came and spoke for a few minutes about aortic aneurysms, which was Rick's cause of death. Unknown to many, they can be discovered by a simple scan and there's often a family history of them. If you have a family member who might have passed away due to a 'massive heart attack', she urged that you get it checked because they can be detected and repaired."
    A few years ago my father collapsed and when in hospital they discovered he was just about to have an aortic aneurysm. They operated immediately and saved his live. Two years ago, his brother died of a heart attack at age 54. I don't know if it was related to a aortic aneurysm but Amy Ritters comments have got me thinking that it might be. I think I should take her advice and get the test done - I did not know it was inherited or that a test existed to detect it.

    Thanks to Amy Ritter for sharing, and ScFiRanger and Jan for reporting it here.

    Yes, isn't that a great pic? There were some others up near the stage. Poster sized ones of a studio photograph of Rick with his sons in matching outfits and another of Rick and Lori in formal dress, one more of Rick in a grey pullover that's a fairly common photo of him. They were a beautiful family.

    I do hope that it becomes an annual event, too. If I hear more, I'll be sure to let you all know.

    Thank's for the link Jan. Boy that last pic of Steven became quite blury. It is a shame to loose such talent. Let us know if another one for next year is actually planned. I really want to attend it.

    Yeah we had a great time, this was the first time we had ever met so it was nice to get to visit with her in person. I enjoyed the opportunity to sit and collect tickets for Jerry's and Steven's autographs as well. Thanks Again Jan.
