    Additional and Extended Scenes...
thats sounds so cool, they have should have done that with each season box set.
Well i guess this is it,im a little bit disappointment,i was hoping for something new and original compare to the rest of the seasons to be on this final B5 story (and i mean final B5,of course we all wait for the telemovies and crusade).

Thanks for the info Joe....as always

Ok .. that should be enough

On the B5 CD-ROM ... buried deep down in the bowels of details ... there was a comment on Marcus' Bio about him being "frozen by orders of Cmdr Susan Ivanova" .. or something of the like.

Later JMS wrote one of his "Amazing Stories" entries to put to rest the speculation of that mention that had Marcus being "healed" something like 300 years past his "death" in the series, finding some scrap of Ivanova DNA, creating a clone, and "crash" landing on a planet to live happily ever after in ignorant bliss that they weren't in "real time" and alive.

Ok ... it was a strange way to stop the speculation, but it's cannon now!

I once posted the following on another board, and someone there actually adopted it as her sig.

I, for one, prefer to think ...that ["Space, Time, and the Incurable Romantic"] is more of a JMS "What If?" story than part of the series "canon". As far as I'm concerned Marcus stayed in that tube forever, a monument to missed opportunities and to the enduring power of hope.
I really think JMS intended it as a way to shut the "bring back Marcus" crowd up once and for all, while setting the whole thing so far outside the regular continuity that fans would be free to accept it or ignore it. I'll be interested in seeing what he has to say on the subject on the disc. The Easter Egg could be an on-screen text version of the story (which is very short, after all) and it may include some commentary by JMS. We'll have to see.

Sounds to me like JMS has just got a great sense of humour and doesn't take it as seriously as all of us hardcore fans.

I thought I read somewhere that when the fans were interviewed at ComicCon that "Marcus: Dead or Alive" was one of the questions they finished with. To me, it sounds like fan's opinions on whether or not they believe JMS' short story.

Interesting! I wasn't aware of that. Still, there will have to be some explanation of the short story to put their comments in context. Otherwise people who have never read or heard of the short story will be scratching their heads wondering what those fans are talking about.
