Hubby phoned Warner this morning and we are just waiting for them to get back to us about it!!!! They know of hte porblem and are looking into it, but it sounds like they will send out a new copy once its been sorted!!!
They were still replacing the "Sky Full" disc about 6 months ago, because that's when they swapped mine. You might want to contact them (using the address in the 1st post) before sending off your faulted disc though, just in case.
And Isis - well done to your hubby for getting through to them (quite an achievement in itself). Their response sounds...well, fairly promising. It would be nice to think that they're going to look at all 3 reported problems with this set, but as long as they re-instate those missing minutes, I guess we'd settle for that.
The other two problems are: wrong start titles in "The Corps is Mother, The Corps is Father" (originally titles had PsiCorps logo instead of B5 logo, but on DVD the titles are usual) and stretched picture for several seconds in "The Paragon of Animals" (the scene has embedded CGI, and when CGI appears suddenly the image goes wrong).
I don't understand why this problem has occured. It's not like DVD is new technology anymore, at least not for a major player like Warner Brothers anyway.
How difficult can it actually be, to make a straight copy of an American film or TV series in the PAL 625 format? They do it ALL THE FRAGGING TIME!!!! There really is no excuse for it.
Makes me really glad to have multi-region only players and my copies of season 5, the Movie set and Crusade in R1.
I wonder if the WB show "Friends" was proofed as well in region 2 DVD as B5 obviously was? (in full sarcastic cynic mode!!)

Makes you wonder, huh?
I blame myself for buying the R2 sets, as I too have a region free player. I think I'll sell both my R2 sets at half price and buy a R1 one. My only problem with this is that this hurts Amazon and not Warner Bros
Although on the positive side, if we all complain to the on line suppliers and get extra faulty ones sent to us free of charge we can send the whole lot back to WB and get good ( ) versions returned. Amazon will just bill WB for the crap ones they sent out, and we get to flog our spare sets on ebay............if only life was so simple.

I also got "replacement" set from Amazon, and of course it is still faulty. I think I will send this replacement set completely to WB. Who knows, maybe they have conscience and will send back the set with all 3 flaws fixed
But I actually feel guilty over getting 2 sets from Amazon.co.uk for the price of one... why do they send replacements so blindly? I mean, the only reason I wrote to them is to get "fixed" disc, not the whole faulty thing once again.

It was probably Cheaper to send the entire set than just the one disk.
(Corporate accounting is Wierd sometimes.)
Of course, it'd be nice if they actually sent a GOOD set.
