Hey, R1, this is your revenge for missing the new record for people logged on. I have been checking IMDb every day for months.
Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required. -

Someone has already mentioned the recasting rumors in the TMoS bulletin boards of IMDB, with someone replying with a link to keepB5alive.com... Hope more letters come out of that.
I haven't checked if the recast rumors and letter campaign have been mentioned in the IMDB forums for B5 and Crusade.Such... is the respect paid to science that the most absurd opinions may become current, provided they are expressed in language, the sound of which recalls some well-known scientific phrase

I'm afraid I don't place a lot of faith in that IMDB listing. For one thing, somebody from the newsgroup claims to be the one who submitted the initial listing. Apparently anybody who's willing to pay for a 'pro' account can submit items and nobody seems to know how they are verified.
It would be great news about Franke, though.

Jan, it doesn't even require being a "pro" member ... As long as you're registered with imdb.com, which is free, you can submit any changes you want. One article I read said that less than 10% of the information on the site comes from official studio sources, the rest comes from "everybody else" - meaning you, me, whoever is registered.Originally posted by Jan

That's why shortly after Legend of the Rangers aired, within just one day, David's name changed 3 times, from "David" to "David Lastname" to some title that was like 15 words long, with "earthforce/anla'shock captain/ blah blah" ...
Ugh.

Besides...I don't see the Franke mention. What's there has been there for a little over a month. But what's there is all that's been there. It lists JMS as writer and Beck as director. That's it. It also lists the country as UK/USA.
Where are folks seeing more?

I followed the link as suggested in a previous post and found the Franke listing.
I'm quite pleased to see him providing music for TMoS. At least we can savor that important part of continuity!
On the other hand, if Crusade could ever be re-started, continued, whatever, I would think Evan Chen would be right for that particular job.
If you read between the lines, which really is all we can do at this time, my guess is JMS has been very busy raising hell with WB about the deleted commentary in the Crusade DVD's. Lawyers may have been involved. Ick!
At any rate, it sounds like our beloved creator of the B5 universe is holding his own against some idiots who think they know better.
I would be cautious to say offers have been made to the original cast. JMS didn't say that. He said offers have been made. Period. No word on who was offered what.Michael Malloy
