I'm being optimistic. That said, if Warners really must replace original cast members couldn't they release George Lucas style Special editions of the original episodes without that guy who played Jinxo in Grail, and Robert Edlund in the awful Grey 17 is missing? (better still throw the whole of that bit of the story away)
Draal number 2 was actually an improvement over Draal number 1 may I add, but JMS made up a good excuse for the swap. (Having the great machine making him younger).
If they are going to do it with with a large clump of the cast I don't think even he could come up with a great justification. It would be like trying to explain why all the original Klingons just looked like slightly tanned beardy blokes in pyjamas. without the Cornish pasties on their foreheads.
