apparently the only Steven Beck IMDB knows has only produced a film called Alma Mater.
What I'm more curious about, is the fact the movie stars apparently a completely new character in the B5 Universe. And she apparently has Galen as a mentor/sidekick.
And there I was thinking a B5 movie would focus around Sheridan & Company.
Though thinking about it that is a good way to make the film accessible to newcomers, since focusing the movie on the 12+ main characters would have been impossible anyway. -
but if you do a search for "Steve Beck", his previous work looks less then impressive

Ghost Ship? Fucking Ghost Ship?
Actually, neither of those films, while being incredibly sucky, were not directed badly. For example, the beginning of Ghost Ship - the cartoony love-boat titles, and the opening massacre was quite inventively done. It's just, the scripts sucked monkey balls. But hopefully, tMoS won't have that problem.
And he was the FX director for three good films.Comment
