We all miss B5 . We can be sure IF B5 returns in whatever form, it will only do so, if and when JMS is satisfied with it.
I hope its soon. If only as a miniseries once a year, we would be grateful.

Ok, for all the English here.

As some of you have said, Dr who returns this year. I believe it starts with an animated series with Richard E Grant. Then later the series proper.

I believe also that Blake's 7 is in the pipeline aswell, which is awsome.

It appears that Star Trek began a new trend when it returned with the next Generation back in the eighties. Since then we've had all the classics return, Most notably Star Wars.

It can only be a matter of time before someone realises the benefits of bringing back Babylon 5 as a proper TV series.

No more half hearted tv movies or pilots that flopped ( Legend of the Rangers )

If its going to be done, it must be done properly.

    Hi, Tess!

Actually, the one thing we do know for certain is that whatever B5-related thing JMS is working on, it's *not* a series. From his 9/27 post:

The only thing I will say is that they're not print projects, so if you were to assume it's for TV or film you wouldn't
be too far off...but that neither of them are series.
So that leaves a lot of options from a theatrical release to miniseries to movie of the week but JMS has asked us not to speculate too much.

    Glad you found the forum!

Now as a long time fan of both Babylon 5 and Doctor Who I was recently made very happy by the BBC's decision to revive Dr Who after a 14 year absense.

So this has made me optimistic about the future of the Babylon universe.

What are our views on the chances of this.

This is also wonderfull news.. I have been a fan of the good Doctor aswell since the Tom Baker days !!! Glad to hear the BBC has woken up to smell the coffee..

I'm so glad to find this site and I'm very glad to read that B5 has a chance for revival! It's too good a story to let it go away!

I would say pretty good especially since JMS has given an EEP about one of the two B5 projects currently being worked on right now.
