I only read the one for The Gathering thus far, but boy is he enthused about the show! Very cool to see people are still discovering the joys of B5.

I met him at the 2016 discworld convention, he was raised in a fundamentalist religious household somewhere in America and subsequently came out so he missed a lot of TV and cultural experinces from the 80s and 90s, now he watches and reads things, people are usually careful to leep him spoiler free and his experinces are a joy to ovserve. He is a really nice guy too.
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

Oh, that's really cool. Interesting perspective to come at these things from too, having missed them for those reasons. I would imagine B5 would be quite an interesting piece as it tackles the subject of religion quite intelligently.

            Mark Watches...B5 and Sense8

Discovered over on B5TV, here's a blog where Mark watches shows and writes/videos about them. I haven't watched any of the videos but I just finished reading his reviews of season one of Sense8 and he's watching B5 now. Lots of fun and I really like how he gives a lot of thought to what he's watching.

His reaction to the first Sense8 episodes was really cool. Was surprised how much he disliked Will and the setting. Comments were fair, I always found Will a bit bland and slightly shoehorned 'hero' archetype. Same for Kala, for different reasons. I need to read more of his reviews. This definitely entertained me.

Had forgotten this thread already existed so merged the one I created with this. I'm enjoying reading the posts though I haven't watched any of the videos.

It was me who mentioned it on JMS' Twitter, as I knew it would be a ffin ride for fans. I've been watching with Mark, since he watched Buffy many moons ago.
Glad it got picked up ok.

I'll go and check your thread out too.

                          There's one thread per season:
                          Season 1 (condensed)
                          Season 2
                          Season 3
                          Season 4

We are currently nearing the end of Season 4.
