Like everyone here I just want it to be good and can't wait.
Is it true that adverts for Legend of the Rangers where shown with the first Lord of the Rings film in the States or was that just one of them darned rumours?

Well, a teaser trailer (if they get into production by then) would be nicely timed for the release of SW:epIII. And official announcement would be better around the Holidays.

I'm with you, Amy
I think it WILL be tied to the Crusade DVD release. They know any of us who can will be buying, and what better way to set up HUGE (and free) internet buzz for TMoS than to put a teaser in the special features?
Besides, I think TMoS will include at least a few Crusade elements, especially Galen and Dureena!

Turkey day would be good for me while I'm headed to best buy at 4 in the morning looking for a bargain.

Yeah, May isn't soon enough. We need some good news, _now_. Especially after yesterday.

<<ok, it may too obvious, but how cool woudl it be to have a big announcement party on 5-5-05..coincidence?>>
That might not be a good idea, considering the release that month of Revenge of the Sith. In the US, I might add, and probably Canada.
I'd say December is a fine idea. It would be awesome if they could sneak a word on it into the Crusade set.

Personally I hope it is much sooner like maybe at Christmas time it would be nice gift but of course it would be even nicer if the movie was coming out AT christmas.

When looking some Star Hyke information, i run into this, it appears to be from the same Dreamwatch article:
Heslop tells Dreamwatch that work is proceeding on the new Babylon 5
production, but was unable to reveal when any official announcement about
the project is likely to be made. "It's too early to say," he explains.
"Maybe in six weeks to two months."
After the initial delays, the studio (WB) would reconsider its original announce date and look for a date that would maximize impact.
Given that the new SW teaser is to hit theatres in front of The Incredibles in Nov., and given that the election will be over and the news cycle will have settled a bit so people's attention can turn to more fanciful things, and given that the Holidays are a great time to announce, I fully expected them to decide to announce around then.
No surprise to me, just confirmation that I'm thinking along their lines (though, I have not yet decided if this is a good thing, or a bad thing, as Ivanova would say).
