Why the heck Babylon5 shouldn't go cinema as well?
(I'm not the first who thought about this; I'm aware.
And no one did s.th. like this before, I'm aware too)
Well, the CGI would look like undersea.
Wouldn't bother me, cause of the tears of joy seeing this happen.
Return to serious. There are some "issues":
1. the fandom should be probed, if they and how much of them are willing to spend money for "B5 cinema"
Even nothing else but this could be done by crowdfunding, imho
Over website(s) Opt-in
2. WB should get interested
This is the more difficult thing.
After all we now can point to the competitor (Paramount).
3. The appropriate period could be 25th jubilee "The Gathering" eg 2018
Beginning with "The Gathering" and continuing with about three eps. at once.
("Midnight on the Firing Line", "Soul Hunter", "Born to the Purple") etc.
As an alternative and to test the waters, there could be only one cinema event at first:
could be "In the Beginning" or selected eps. like "Wilderness 1+2" and "Babylon Squared".
I know, I'm dreaming and it's more likely such a cinema event will never happen.
But only to write this post is just FUN.
