  • I like the Telepath song!

I just watched "Strange Relations" and I like that song. The service at the end made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If I was a little lost telepath I so would have joined Bryon's group.

I don't care that everyone else in the world hates Byron. I like him and I can understand why Lyta fell in love with him and joined his cause. Part of that is cos I love Lyta and I'd join any group she was a part of.

I am now considering all the possiblilites and what if's of how the story could have gone. I love everything about the telepaths, of course.

I'm sad that all the telepaths had to leave after Byron sacrificed himself. I would liked to have seen more of his legacy and of course, I wanted more Lyta.

Too bad Joe had to end the series at season 5. Season 5 was really just season one of another 4 year arc, in my opinion.

Anywho, I liked the song. I liked Byron. And I have absolutely zero problems with the telepath colony arc.

    So there!

Yes, I totally agree with that. I would have loved to see it continue with the new cast and expand where things ended up with Lyta, especially after time with G'Kar.

Yessss! I would have watched an entire show of nothing but Lyta and G'Kar's travels. I also really, really wanted to see the telepath war. There is just so much story left in the B5verse.

Not that I'm ungrateful for what we did get. But still I yearn for more. Oh well.

When the WB does finally decided to take B5 out of the vault, it will be after JMS has gone beyond the rim, most likely, and the new people in charge won't understand it at all, and it will be hilariously bad.

I will prolly still watch it though from my nursing home wheelchair bed. My eyesight and hearing will be so bad then and I'll prolly keep falling asleep in the middle of it, anyway, so it won't matter much.

I love that song. May have been caught singing it to myself while pottering around the house more than once over the years.

I agree I'd have loved an "adventures of Lyta and G'Kar" spinoff of some sort, even a miniseries. It'd have been so much fun to watch.

Yeah if Andreas had still been around that should have been the first of the Lost Tales they attempted.

That'd have been good; I can't remember because it's been a very long time since I watched LT but they referenced Lyta and G'Kar still being on their travels, didn't they?

G'Kar and Franklin. This was after Richard Biggs had passed away.

Yeah; you can imagine it was quite a shock when I first started watching and looked the actors up, and found out he'd passed away before i even started!

Imagine how bad it has been watching since 1995 and seeing all these names go beyond the rim far too soon.

It really does seem that Babylon 5 has had more than its share of people passing before their time.

(Sorry Delenn_of_Mir, but I feel like that song serves a duel purpose. I think it humanizes the Telepath's while at the same time making them seem Cult-Creepy.)
