That's why I am hoping that the discount period is longer than usual. The timing is good news/bad news in that respect - good for people who want to buy it or get it as a gift, but bad if you are already tapped out. If the discount period is long enough, it won't matter that much.

Jan, I suspect you've been helping with this project for years, but signed a non-disclosure agreement that prevented you from talking about it.

That's why I am hoping that the discount period is longer than usual. The timing is good news/bad news in that respect - good for people who want to buy it or get it as a gift, but bad if you are already tapped out. If the discount period is long enough, it won't matter that much.

Keep in mind that the Captain has always been very generous in granting the discount outside of the deadlines. All it generally takes is an email. One of the many reasons I like them!! (yeah, I consult but I'm still a customer, too.)

"The Fan Council decides these dates -- just like they asked for a holiday release. Our understanding is until December 31. If it changes, it will be longer not shorter. The goal is to make sure every fan who wants to get it at the huge savings price has that chance."
