Glad, that the scans came back good, I wish you a speedy recovery.

I found Babylon 5 at a low point in my life and was interacting with the fandom a few months later. At first I was nervous about it, but everyone's been nice. Now I'm starting to feel like my old self more often.

Glad to hear you are a-okay man, and i am happy to hear that online support has made all the difference.

I think i started posting here when i was at a bit of a low point. I was stuck at home with a broken collar bone and at that time I was still finding my feet again in terms of my social life. I knew very few people, and most of my close friends had all re-located. I'd just moved to my own place having lived in a shared house, which formed about 99% of my social center. So the change was a bit of a shock. I think I instinctively reach back to things like B5 when I'm low, it's always familiar and comforting. To exchange thoughts with people who had the same interests was definitely good.

Glad the scan came out fine! Hopefully the blood tests will, also.

Fandom is a great bringer-together-er, isn't it? That's one reason I so love going to conventions. Just by dint of being there, even if you don't share a specific fandom people love sharing with each other.

    Mod mod:
No, since there's a B5 show connection, we can leave this here. If it ends up mostly Pratchett, maybe I'll move it.
