  • Scenes you wanted to see

Do any of you have anything you wish we had seen on screen?

    I'll start with my moment.

I wanted to see a scene where G'Kar found out that Vir had been saving Narns when he was on Minbar. After Vir's apology in the elevator he went against his own government to smuggle Narns to safety and aside from the Centauri trilogy the only time that's mentioned again is when Londo is ordering Vir to go and tell G'Kar that Na'Toth is alive.
"It means living each moment as if it were your last one. It means doing each right thing because it is the right thing. The scale doesn't matter. The where, the when, the how, or in what cause... none of those things matter."

Oh, this is a good one! I wonder how/if G'Kar would have acknowledged Vir's actions, considering how little people in real positions of power did to help his people.

    Okay, I've got two.

Two that don't exist but I wish they did:

    - The Adventures of Lyta and G'Kar
    or
    - The Adventures of Franklin and G'Kar (as noted in the mini-comic that came with some of the Lost Tales disks.

One that did exist but was edited out of the show:

    - Sebastian telling Sheridan that it was Delenn who essentially was responsible for the Earth/Minbari war.

I would have loved to have seen David Sheridan, especially the 'incident' and his overcoming the Drakh.
Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

      Kosh: Good!

I would LOVE to see everything brought up so far, but I think as far as what was in the show the above Jan quote might be second, if not first, among moments we could have seen. The only reason I don't want to say it is first is because I'd love to think of an even better one myself. LOL

Hmmmmm. . . . I need to think about this and come back.

It's so much - and really undergoes the "NO STORY IDEAS" verdict.

          But...
Look at one of my favorite SIG and you know what I'd love to see.

I am actually astounded the B5 doesn't have a porn parody yet. Every other big SF show does! Heh.

JMS wrote his own with the joke version of 'The Exercise of Vital Powers'.

                    Another:

I wanted to see Garibaldi finally catch up with Bester!

I have read the Psi-Corps trilogy, but I expect the TV show would have taken a different path. I think I remember there being hints of this (Garibaldi's agents) towards the end of Fiona Avery's 'Value Judgements' Crusade script.

Definitely up there on my wishlist.

The more I have thought about this the more things I come up with. Here are a few minor things I'd like to have seen.

                      - You know how we got a brief glimpse of life on the Drazi homeworld in Season 5; I'd love to see that for every race - especially Narn prior to the war Centauri. A glimpse of everyday life on each of those planets; Earth included, though I didn't much care for what we saw in The Lost Tales. It seemed to not fit well with what glimpses of Earth we had gotten before as well as seeming way to influenced by other SciFi Shows and movies.

                      - Staying on Narn I'd love to have seen what Ta'Lon was doing prior to being captured by the Steibe. (Is that really how you spell that?)

                      - Sticking with Ta'Lon I'd love to have seen how things went with the new cast in charge.

I could go on, but I said there would only be "a few."

I want to see Garibaldi winning the motorcycle featured in 'Eyes', and bringing it onto the station.
I can see him explaining his basket of parts in the customs line

See, I stay away for a few days and something wonderful happens. Sorry to come in and kill things, but that is my superpower.

I'd like to see the cut Sebastian scene, too. I'd like to know what exactly he says and how Sheridan reacts.

Though, I'm not sure it's really fair to blame the earth-minbari war on Delenn. Yes, she did vote, and she did say to "kill them all," but if she was really that powerful she could have ended everything as soon as she'd calmed down and was sorry. But she couldn't.

It took a huuuge reveal, much later on before she was able to convince anyone to stop, and it was almost too late. Her amount of power seemed to go up and down, like sometimes they spoke about her like she was the most powerful Minbari ever, and then when she wants to marry Sheridan, it's like she's a little kid whose daddy doesn't think she's old enough and she has to beg him for permission.

Not so much a scene i'd like to see that we didn't but a scene changed.
That scene wher ehte ranger escapes from the planet and dies getting the message to babylon 5. I want that ranger to be marcus's brother and we see the results and marcus joining etc
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "
