  • I'm Cursed and stuff about B5 and the Grail.

"giggles" I gave myself the user title of Thread Killer because I've got 4 threads in a row and I was the last poster in each one of them. It seems I've got the Firefly curse, only with threads.

Speaking of B5 and curses, I wonder whatever happened to Jinxo, or James, was it? I don't remember his real name. Did he find anything neat while searching for the grail and who did he pass it along, too, when he was on his death bed?

Did someone continue searching for the grail for eternity, or did someone eventually find it? Did the Great Burn put a stop to the succession of grail seekers? What about when the sun went nova?

That is another thing I love about B5, Thread Killer. I want to know what happened in all of the extended stories, like Jinxo's Grail quest. Oddly enough Jinxo is a great example because there was somewhat of an extension of that story when JMS brought Deuce back for Thirdspace. There are SOOOO MANY possibilities for extended stories in the B5 Universe. I think about them often.

(PS Delenn_of_Mir try to find all of the threads I've started and I am the last poster on this site. If you really want to see how pathetic it can get take a quick trip back to the LanternCityTV.com Forum. I am sure anyone who bothers to check in there from time to time just calls it the Looney Forum now. )

B5 had so many interesting characters drop by and I would love to know what happened to all of them. I just want more, more, more when it comes to B5 stories. Can't ever get enough of them.

And awwwwees, is the lantern city forum still around? Once I figured out there was prolly never going to be a show I forgot about it. I did enjoy the illustrated novel though. I still have the audio version on my ipad.

If you would like, I could respond to any post you make which is the final post.

Technically yes. Does anyone other than me post anything there? VERY RARELY. Team Lantern City is pretty active on Facebook though. The comic book is about to reach the end with Issue #12. The plot is good and I absolutely LOVE the artwork, but on the whole I wish the story had been told in a different format. Telling it in comic book form seemed to rush everything. SOOOOO many things happened and I wanted them all fleshed out more than a twelve issue comic book would allow for. Of course that is just a personal preference, not really the fault of the people who made it. I am sure if I were more accustom to reading comics I'd probably not have this problem. I have a friend who is a big comic book reader. His problem is that he is too big a comic book reader and has yet to read Lantern City. I am very curious as to what his opinion will be once he starts reading the Issues he bought.

As a heads up, they have started releasing compilations if you are interested and don't want to try to buy all 12 individual comics.

This is issues 1-4. It is due out Tuesday.

I finally found the forum and gave you a shout out!

I'm trying to be good and save what little money I have for important things, but there is sooooo much stuff out there I want that's it's getting harder and harder each day to resist, going, getting a gift card and going to town. "giggles"

Though comic books will always be at the bottom of my list. I do have one Tara and Willow comic that I love, but for the most part. I don't pictures and tiny little panels that I can never figure out which direction they go in. And online comic book readers are a huge pain, if you're like me and have to make the print bigger to avoid headaches.

Real books are soooooo much more nicer. In epub format, especially.

I guess their illustrated novel didn't do very well?

I don't know. I know it was available on Amazon for a long time, but no longer unless someone came up with more. I actually bought a second copy through eBay for about $15 not long ago. I think it did well enough to help them get the comic book done.

Thanks for the shout out. I'll check it out.

I'm probably too hard on comics. If I was rich I'd buy millions of em just 'cause I could. Mwahahahaa But they really are hard for me to read. *sad face*

I did never understand their crazy searching for the Holy Grail, since the SG-1 team found/rebuilt the Grail already in the past The Quest (part 2).

If someone ever wonder about my SIG stated below.
It's a try to speak a little poohish.
                    (You know Pooh Bear?)
It eventually came to me since Bears are very prominent in B5.
                    (For JMS not really ;-)

                    More what?
                    B5. Of course!
