I watched the first season last. I started to watch sporadic in season two thanks to strange air times and lack of TV due to going to university. It was only several years later I found the whole of season 1 in a used cd and VHS store and bought them silly cheap.

Sadly I had to get rid of the vhs tapes a few years back. They are bulky but contained a lot of good memories.

They are so bulky and I still have WAY too many, but not of B5. Oddly enough I know two young men who are both 26 and they are starting to collect VHS tapes because they are "vintage". The only aspect of this new found obsession of theirs that I agree with is you can find many old VHS tapes with great cover art on the boxes. Other than that I tell them they are crazy.

But crazy in the good way

The last time I moved apartment I got rid of almost two cubic meters of VHS tapes. Was very surprised to see that they took up that much space.

I guess I would say crazy in a good way if I personally didn't have so many tapes taking up space. And these are recorded tapes not commercial home video. Most of them are old TV Shows and movies I recorded off cable television, but some of them are old home movies as well and some episodes of Babylon 5. Unfortunately labels have fallen off many so I need to go through tapes and make sure I am not losing anything personal if I get rid of them. And I need to purchase some means of transferring the ones I want to keep to a digital format. I also know that disposing of tapes is a big issue here in the States so I don't want to just throw them away in bulk and I definitely am not paying a place to recycle the material. So while I would normally say "crazy in a good way" when it comes to getting interested in "vintage" items, my personal annoyance with VHS tapes is prohibiting from thinking that way in this instance.
