Anyway, she absolutely loves the show and she goes on and on about what a tragedy it is that she hadn't seen it before we went to Space City Con 2014. I tell her that hopefully she'll get another chance if there is a big 25th Anniversary Convention. I also tell her that by then the original series WILL be attached to a WILDLY successful feature film that brings a much bigger crowd she'll have to deal with. She's okay with that.
Good to hear you are now both enjoying B5, after I met both of you at SCC.

She had never seen a minute of the show until I showed it to her sporadically during 2014. When I arrived this time she had seen all of season one and the first couple of episodes of season two. We're now eight episodes into season four, but the most we've done is eight episodes in one day. We usually do two to five a night, depending on how much she demands to see the next episode. After season one she was in love with Sinclair and Sheridan has been a hard sell. It was sooooooo awesome when she saw War Without End. She almost stood up an danced when she saw his face in that opening scene. The whole episode she thought it was his end and it depressed her, but she had no clue what was coming. It was such a wonderful moment.

Watched rest of season one yesterday, alongside a group of like minded sci fi fanbs, we will be doing season two in February and so on through the first half of the year.
Looking at that much Babylon 5 in one go (noon until ten pm Saturday and noon until nine fifteen yesterday, with only a half hour break around 17:00 was.... Intense
Even some of the so called "bad" episodes (tko, infection and my own least favourite "by any means necessary") just blew by/
It is quite exhausting to watch that much in one go, I fell in to bed shattered each night.
Still it was fun to sit in a room full of people who like the show as much as I do, more demonstrably too. They clapped and went squee at favourite lines. Considering the size of the screen we were projecting it on to I thought the CGI looked surprisingly good.
My back is in a heap after sitting on a couch for that long though! Will have to make better seating arrangements next month!

Ahh man. That sounds cool. I don't know anywhere near enough people who like the show enough to do re-watch marathons.

I was reliving Space City Con 2014 on January 4th. Remember that #FREEBABYLON5 Panel?! That was great. Couldn't watch In The Beginning. It is not up yet in any of the re-watches I am doing.
