Um Huzzah for 1992. Wish I could go back there!!!!!!
I wouldn't shy away from having an opinion! I saw nothing wrong with the post, if you're unsure about a new B5 film / reboot... then fair play. Each to their own.

If JMS does go back to B5, I really doubt it'll have much in common with his work on Sense8. If anything, I think it'll be something interesting, at the very least. The original series will always be there, intact and awesome.

Yeah, I love that picture, if only for the contrast. Believe it or not, I've had people think that he and I were the same person based on the fact that we have the same initials.

No real news, but here's what JMS recently said in an interview so apparently the plan is still in place.

N: One last question… What can you tell us about the current status of Babylon 5? Will we see more?

JMS: I still maintain the film rights to Babylon 5, although Warners owns the television rights. I would love to do a feature film in the Babylon 5 universe and kind of reboot that for a larger audience, with a proper budget that we never had on the series. So I’m hoping this year to write a B5 screenplay, and then get it financed at a proper level and then do it in 2016 and reboot the franchise. It couldn’t be a continuation because we’ve lost several actors and not enough folks saw the original. It would be a reboot.

Now that Sense8 is launching, maybe we will hear more about B5 reboot?

I'd like to see the original concept filmed with Sinclair staying with the station for the duration.
No Sheridan?? I often forget how many times JMS had to adapt the story due to circumstances beyond his control.

I saw JMS interviewed on Emmy TV Legends - when asked about the story if things had gone to plan, he declined to comment.
That would be the movie I want to see.

Not only does Joe know how talented the original cast is, but after working together over more than five years, Joe and the cast developed an understanding and trust that would be difficult to replicate. He is very familiar with how each of them approaches his material. Joe also understands and writes to their individual and collective psyche.

I would find it interesting to see the 'body swap' episode that Joe has mentioned with Peter Jurasik playing both G'Kar and Londo. For that matter, Peter could potentially play both G'Kar and Londo in any future B5 related production.

    Peter Woodward as G'Kar...

Although I often found Galen a bit over the top in terms of acting, I think that's was how the character was envisaged and Woodward delivered accordingly. I think he could totally pull off G'Kar and do something more understated.
