Only Peter knows the discussions he and Andreas had when deciding how to perform against each other. He could play it as either an homage or completely different. Either one could be great.

I would find it interesting to see the 'body swap' episode that Joe has mentioned with Peter Jurasik playing both G'Kar and Londo. For that matter, Peter could potentially play both G'Kar and Londo in any future B5 related production.

Now that Sense8 is launching, maybe we will hear more about B5 reboot?
I'd like to see the original concept filmed with Sinclair staying with the station for the duration.
No Sheridan?? I often forget how many times JMS had to adapt the story due to circumstances beyond his control.
I saw JMS interviewed on Emmy TV Legends - when asked about the story if things had gone to plan, he declined to comment.
That would be the movie I want to see.

No real news, but here's what JMS recently said in an interview so apparently the plan is still in place.
N: One last question… What can you tell us about the current status of Babylon 5? Will we see more?
JMS: I still maintain the film rights to Babylon 5, although Warners owns the television rights. I would love to do a feature film in the Babylon 5 universe and kind of reboot that for a larger audience, with a proper budget that we never had on the series. So I’m hoping this year to write a B5 screenplay, and then get it financed at a proper level and then do it in 2016 and reboot the franchise. It couldn’t be a continuation because we’ve lost several actors and not enough folks saw the original. It would be a reboot.

Since no one's around and I don't wanna be all nelly. I'll just edit and delete my worry post. Though I did save it, just in case.
Um Huzzah for 1992. Wish I could go back there!!!!!!Last edited by Delenn_of_Mir; 06-21-2015, 11:19 AM.

If JMS does go back to B5, I really doubt it'll have much in common with his work on Sense8. If anything, I think it'll be something interesting, at the very least. The original series will always be there, intact and awesome.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.
Kosh: Good!

I didn't see anything wrong with the post, either. I just didn't have a response that amounted to anything better than 'I don't agree'. But if you'd like to discuss why you're worried, that could be fun.

Same sentiment as Jan... it's not like there's exactly a roaring trade in B5 based conversation of late. I flip flop in terms of what I think of a reboot / film, but I love B5 enough to want to see more.Captain John Sheridan: I really *hate* it when you do that.

Bring on the sock puppets or anything that is B5 related!
Here's to JMS continued successful ventures, and to a couple of disappointments - Forbidden Planet and The Flickering Light.
"G'Quon wrote, There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way.
The war we fight is not against powers and principalities – it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender."
Here's to that shining beacon in space.Last edited by DaveNarn; 06-22-2015, 02:43 PM.
