Oh yeah, I remember now, thanks. Paul Winfield was it?
God, what a crappy year in terms of people passing...

Thank you! I also know him from City Confidential, but his name escaped me at the time.

He made Zathras a great character. His appearance in Crusade was also good (the way he said "the most holy" was fun, now he may be actually in the presence of the most holy).

          May he rest in peace.

He played my favorite of the minor Babylon 5 characters. A friend of mine even got me his signature at a ccg tournament. I valued that signature but now it is more value to me.
            He'll be deeply missed.
At least, he'll continue to live on screen and in our hearts.

            Rest in peace.

              From Pat Tallman --

              Dear Friends,
We spoke to Madalyne , Tim's wife just now and it's true. Tim was killed on his motorcycle Friday. He was hit by a car. I will have more information late today on the service and fund for his son, Flynn.
Please check back here and on the front page of the Gateway.

              Love,
              Pat

Thanks for posting the confirmation, Omaha. Though I'm sure we all wish it hadn't been true.

Recently, there was a reckoning. It occurred on November 4, 2014 across the United States. Voters, recognizing the failures of the current leadership and fearing their unchecked abuses of power, elected another party as the new majority. This is a first step toward preventing more damage and undoing some of the damage already done. Hopefully, this is as much as will be required.

Pat Tallman and the gang at TheGalacticGateway.com have sent up this forum to post messages in for Tim's loved ones ... If you'd care to share a story or just send your condolances, this would be the way to do it. As with Rick Biggs earlier this year, they will print out the messages and deliver them to Tim's family.

Another candle gone out. It's terribly sad news and pretty nearly too much to process. Thoughts and love go out to his famiy and friends.

For what was a rather small role in the whole of Babylon 5, Tim definitely brought huge amounts of life to the character and cemented Zathras as one of those characters I just love. No matter how many times I watch his scenes, I still and always will laugh.

I now have mixed feelings about the name Jan and I gave to our "guerilla" B5 track at Dragon Con: Doctor Zathras's Traveling Babylon 5 Medicine Show. Sure, I'm glad we chose to honor Zathras (and by extension, Tim for playing him so brilliantly)....but I'm sure it'll also make people wistful now.

Requiescat in pace, Tim. Beannachtai/ agus sio/chain.

                              Why does this keep happening?

                              He seemed like neat guy.

Good-bye Tim. A lot of people you never had a chance to know will miss you.

This has been the worst of years!
