Hurrraaaaaays!!!!!! I love podcasts too!

I had found every episode of this one B5 podcast, and I downloaded all 111 episodes onto my ipod. It took hours and I had to delete all my music to get them all on there. I happily listened to about seven or eight of them, and then one night, while I was in the middle of listening to one eppy - every single episode was removed from my ipod!

How did that happen? I've never noticed anything being deleted from my iPod without me deleting it on iTunes on my PC.first. Do podcasts have some expiration after which they auto-delete?

Yeah, I think the gang at White Star Five is doing the same, a couple news items seemed a little dated.
None-the-less it was a good 2nd show.
Allison's critique of B5 as a trek fan . . .
btw - I saw a t-shirt I liked that said:
"Babylon 5 was dark and gritty long before dark and gritty was cool"

Downloading the 2nd show tonight.
I was a trek fan myself before I got into B5, and I still like both a lot. B5 wins hands down, but still . . .

Yes Dave, I have seen that quote before, maybe I should get one myself. OTOH I should be getting some #FreeBabylon5 t-shirts soon, so might as well wait a bit.

None-the-less it was a good 2nd show.
Allison's critique of B5 as a trek fan is most interesting and made me consider the core difference between Trek and B5 fans.
And that is I think the appeal to trek is it's bright & clean utopian future where humans has become noble care-takers of the galaxy.

Where as B5 is a little more like Blade Runner and our heros can be flawed but no less noble.

I dunno about that, we release weekly and I understand Mike does a fair amount of editing, our trick is to record at least 3-4 weeks in advance and also to drop the odd bonus episode in recordings during the year, that way when we take a break for annual-gift.giving-period and the summer, there are casts waiting to be released.

I listened to the first one, I like the format.
Looking forward to getting more.
Is the podcast intended to be weekly, monthly, or perhaps a bit irregular ?
I can see that a fair amount of editing is done (well done, btw), so could imagine that a weekly schedule would be a bit tight.

Which podcast was that ? It can't be the Babylon Podcast, that one should have 280 episodes.

I love podcasts and subscribe to many and I'd subscribe to the JMSNews cast if we had one
