As for the thread topic: I didn't see SIL when it first aired, and I'm glad I didn't. Was so depressed my first time seeing it (if it had aired on TV and I couldn't just start back over at the beginning, I don't know how I would have coped.

I was surprised to discover that I agreed with Sinclair's Fan that it not be posted. Oh, it's nothing major at all but I can see that it could be distracting once noticed.

As for the spring thing, Looney...maybe you were in Australia that year? There was a fair amount of flak on the message boards about it being so close to Thanksgiving here in the States. And hey, we're all getting old!

So the weirdest aspect of this thread for me is not that I am getting too old too quickly, but the fact that I swear this aired in the spring. As soon as I read Jan's post my brain said, "That isn't right. It aired in the spring." I guess I really am getting old.

Seriosly though, the problem with it is this; as soon as you spot it, the wonderful illusion that the episode is happening for real is completely lost, and instead of joining Sheridan on one last emotional journey, the real-life fact that you're simply watching a TV show comes looming out of the TV screen and bops you over the head!

So..., a PM it is. When you see what a daft little problem it is, I hope you'll understand why I didn't want to post it where a casual visitor might accidentally see it, spoiling this great episode forever.

By coincidence, I watched this episode on Friday night. I spotted a mistake I'd never seen before in the last 15 years! I'm not going to moan about anyone because everybody makes mistakes, that's just the way it is.

But -darn it all- now I've noticed it, I can't take my eyes off it!

I'm not going to publicly post what it is because I don't want to drive anyone else nuts with it, but I do check my PMs now and then, if anyone would like to ask....
