I think showing The Gathering and Midnight on The Firing Line in the same sitting is a great idea. Of course if they don't care for it I am not skipping ahead, despite the fact I originally started with Season Two having only seen bits and pieces of Season One. Over the years I have come to LOVE Season One too much to think about skipping anything, but that is just my opinion.

I only said to skip ahead because the show changes a bit once Sheridan comes on board. If I can hook them in with him in Season 2, I'll do that and then go back and show them Season 1.

I love Season 1 a lot, too, and Sinclair is one of my favorite characters in the entire series, so I would definitely not want them to miss out on that.
