Season 3; Now this is where it gets REALLY GOOD! OH Season 2 was good, but season 3 and 4 are my most favorite!
Matter of Honor
I love it whenever Sheridan says something to Kosh and he always respond with something like, "Good." Almost like a child talking to a parent! Of course, as we see much later, we see the Vorlons consider themselves as parents to the younger races.
I been meaning to say that I just love the relationship between Sheridan and Susan. They have a great captain and first officer relationship. I love their bantering and friendship. IF I was going to compare the relationship of Captain and First officer with all the star trek ones, I would say Sheridan and Susan are my favorite.
A Day in the Strife
Okay, I been wondering here, where does G'Kar live now? I thought he was still in the Ambassadorial wing (Green sector) when Garibaldi came to convince G'Kar not to go back to Narn. Then in "Dust to Dust", it looked like he was in red sector when he was leaving his quarters under the influence of dust.
Anybody know for sure on this? Cause I been wondering for awhile now, especially since his title of Ambassador was removed.
Passing through Gethsemane
What an appropriate name for this episode. This episode is one of the few that (in my opinion) proves that mind wipes are inhumane. I am personally for the death penalty. I felt bad for the guy who learned that he had a past life that involved murder. What a terrible thing to find out.
Voices of Authority
Don't like political officers. In fact, I don't like anything politics. It's just another word for lies and kissing each other's butts. Maybe do a little worship of each other as well.
I love the moments where Sheridan makes his speeches and goes out like the greatest general of all time. He reminds me of one of my favorite Book of Mormon characters. He reminds me of Captain Moroni, the way he goes out to fight for light. And especially more pronounced when he goes up against Earth to clear out the bad guys infesting Earthgov.
Dust to Dust
I love the G'Kar under dust plot and the vision he had. I think one was obviously his father but I think the rest was G'Quan.
Two things I wonder.
1. I wonder if G'Kar brought Londo and Vir to Medlab or if he called Medlab then turned himself in.
2. What sector does he live in now? When we see him leaving his quarters, I see red, indicating red sector.
Last line of the episode
"And some of us must be sacrificed for all to be saved." I couldn't help but see this as prophetic. Especially for Londo because, did he not sacrifice himself in order to save others in the end?
For a moment, I thought to myself, "G'Kar didn't sacrifice anything." But in a way he did, he sacrificed his anger and hatred so that he could help save others.
*shakes head* Sci-fi characters never learn do they? Whenever they say, "quiet day" or "What could go wrong" or something like that, something always go wrong! Will they ever learn? :-D Then again if they did, we wouldn't have TV!
This alien species that gets put into people's bodies, very interesting. I can't seem to decide rather these aliens are bad or not. Especially since, apparently it is voluntary.
Poor Lieutenant, I felt bad for the poor guy, trying to figure out if he was asked on a date or not! I think Susan didn't quite ask the right questions to find out his loyalties. I mean the questions she asked could be interpreted in so many ways. I don't think the private meeting really gave her a clear picture of rather or not he should join the little 'cell group'.
Ha! I love the roses bit! Classic!
Messages from Earth
"I'm gonna kill him. After breakfast, I'm gonna kill him!" LOVE IT! Especially when the scene switches to Marcus looking like he was being chased!
I love the music scores in the series especially in this season. I also loved the drum beats being played when Marcus was escorting the lady to the War Council meeting. I'm trying to figure out how to play it on my drum set. Great marching beat if you ask me. :-D
I love this episode. Just everything about it, the music, the actions taken by Captain Sheridan. Like I"ve said earlier, I feel like I"m watching a futuristic version of our world today.
I think Susan didn't quite ask the right questions to find out his loyalties. I mean the questions she asked could be interpreted in so many ways. I don't think the private meeting really gave her a clear picture of rather or not he should join the little 'cell group'.
Well, she has to be vague, because if he's not down wit OPP, she risks exposing the whole thing.
I know, but I still think the questions could've been ask better without giving anything away. Maybe bring him into a discussion on politics, the government and thoughts on what is going on with the government. Just my thoughts.
Ahhhh, this is one of my most favorite episodes of of the entire series! I love their solution for Night Watch. And I especially enjoyed seeing Zack finally making the right decision and becoming even greater asset to the command staff.
One of my favorite questions in this episode was, "What went wrong? What do we do wrong?" or something like that. How perfect to set the stage for what most people are probably feeling.
hehe, I love hearing G'Kar belting a song out. I wonder if the actor was singing some random song in another language or just, what's that word where you are singing but it's nothing more than laaaadaaadooooodeeee or something like that?
Gee, I wonder how people clapping and cheering is considered inciting riots. *rolls eyes*

Okay, Lady Morella's prophecy. Londo has three chances to avoid the fire that awaits him at the end of his journey. Which I assume means he has three chances for redemption. He already blew two chances. Perhaps one of them was the great machine, and the other one is, I'm not sure. Perhaps allowing Narn to be invaded?
1. You must save the eye that does not see.
2. You must not kill the one that is already dead
3. You must surrender yourself to your greatest fear.
Here are my thoughts based on what I've read and what makes sense. The eye that does not see is G'kar. That could've mean simply saving G'Kar's eye, or saving G"kar as a whole. And he did save G'Kar's life did he not?
The one that is already dead could be either one. But since the prophecy was before Sheridan went to Z'ha'dum, then it's gotta be Morden. Though it could work with Sheridan since he didn't kill him in 2278.
The third one, was probably when G'Kar and Londo killed each other. Now,I wonder what would've happened if he had passed the first two. Would the future have been different in anyway?
**
Now let's see, the first two I think ties into each other a little bit. What if Londo had the Emporer killed long before G'Kar's eye was removed? And then the people who side with the shadows (like Lord Reefa) was kicked out?
this would certainly (has some have said in other threads) keep the Shadows from having a base on Centauri prime. Then the Drakh wouldn't have reason to come to Centauri prime right? So many what ifs in Babylon 5, I wish there were more fanfiction to cover these what if ideas.
HA! I love the ending with Vir and Londo looking at each other suspiciously. Are you gonna kill me? Are you going to kill me? hehe :-D
I think that one makes sense. He watches the whole thing happen, feels bad about it, but says nothing, as G'Kar states in the season five dream in Very Long Night of Londo Mollari.
The one that is already dead could be either one. But since the prophecy was before Sheridan went to Z'ha'dum, then it's gotta be Morden. Though it could work with Sheridan since he didn't kill him in 2278.

Dead is dead, and the only one who fits that description would be Sheridan.

The goal was to *redeem* himself. Sparing Sheridan was part of that. Then he had to surrender himself to his greatest fear: his death at G'Kar's hands.
HA! Another one of my favorite episodes! I just love the beginning with the Narn taking Londo's identicard and pretending that it wasn't working. Great payback for Londo's comments about the Narn needing to be watched out for and so forth. Ah well, payback is a butt.
I wonder if the four that remained behind while the rest in the grey council followed Delann was the warrior's caste?
HAHA! I just love the battle scenes and the way Delenn comes to the rescue. I just love the delivery and with her accent, perfect! She sounded intimidating and scary.
I thought DS9 battle scenes were good, but Babylon 5 scenes are AMAZING! I don't think they ever reused footage from previous battle scenes like DS9 did.
And of course the one thing I love about Babylon 5 that sets it apart from Star Trek is...FIGHTERS! They don't have that in STar Trek. Just those ones that are apparently for showing off.
I loved the ending of this episode. I"ve seen this scene two or three times, and each time I just can't help but clap along with everyone else in the scene. Come on, tell me I"m not the only one this crazy! It's just incredible how the command staff stands up for what is right and how so many people supported them. Love it love it LOVE IT!

Speaking of Morden, it took me awhile but I finally figured out that he had never been dead. IF I understand correctly, he willingly joined the shadows. Whereas, Anna Sheridan's personality died (like Winters did) and her body became a tool for the Shadows. So they were never dead. Therefore, that leaves Sheridan the one true person that Londo is not suppose to kill. NOW I get it!
:-D
So two out of three wasn't bad. He spared Sheridan and he gave in to his greatest fear.
I like the rebirth ceremony. I thought it was fitting considering the last few episodes. It's too bad G'kar and Londo didn't attend. It might've done them both some good.
I love the new uniforms. :-D I wonder if any Narns was on the security force that went to take down the bad guys near the end of the episode.
Sic Transit Vir
A vir episode! I love that guy, he's so adorable. Sometimes, he makes me think of a cute little puppy. I love how the scene in the throne room ended with a Narn joke, and then we see Vir enter a room full of Narns. Pretty funny!
There are few things that I don't understand in this episode.
1. Who were the two Narns trying to kill and why? Because of Vir? Or his 'wife'.
2. What happened to the tied up Narn? Did Vir kill him? (can't see him doing that). Did he let him go? I wish they had showed us and if he did let him go, what was her reaction?
