  • n'grath watch... Have you seen him?

As members of this forum will be aware, there have been numerous extra-B5 sightings of n'grath, both substantiated and unsubstantiated. Much like Elvis, n'grath refuses to stay dead, and has been spotted moonlighting in other shows, taking jobs where he can to make ends meet.

This thread is to keep track of any n'grath's related sightings. Seen n'grath? Post it here!

To re-cap, so far we have the following:

    N'GRATH SPOTTED IN SUNNYDALE

Really, it happened. N'Grath from Babylon 5 appeared on Buffy, in the episode "Teacher's Pet."

I myself have read very little negative statements about the character, most people seem to favor his existance from what I can tell. I would be interested in finding out what criticisms there are about him so I can figure out what changes to make.
N'GRATH WORKING AT CHUCK E CHEESE?

I'd always tip double, and whisper under my breath 'that's for B5... have a drink on me'.

Maybe N'Grath will KILL Jar Jar Binks (or is JJB already dead?). <shrug> I don't pay much attention to Star Wars, and don't plan on watching Episodes VII-IX. As far as I'm concerned, III thru VI are all the Star Wars that were ever made. Episodes I & II NEVER HAPPENED.

Star Wars characters could have fit well in the B5 universe if you dismiss their Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away setting and put them in say, 2260

The Trade Federation would be part of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds.
The jedi would have been touched by the Vorlons.

A psi-cop vs. Jedi master.. wonder if that conversation has ever come up?

I can also see Londo and Lando hanging out, just scheming on things.

Ubik, did you get that photo from the side of a Spoo carton?
"And what kind of head of Security would I be if I let people like me know things that I'm not supposed to know? I mean, I know what I know because I have to know it. And if I don't have to know it, I don't tell me, and I don't let anyone else tell me either. " And I can give you reasonable assurances that the head of Security will not report you for doing so."
"Because you won't tell yourself about it?"

"I try never to get involved in my own life, too much trouble."

Yes, form a carton of Spoo Milk in fact, the universes' favourite dairy free alternative.

Just to clarify the aim of this thread was a to have a bit of silly fun, somewhat akin to the 'silly B5 quote conversation' thread. Feel free to make things up, post photos, get creative, etc.

Oh wait, this just in... Another n'grath sighting...

...or perhaps forming a wrestling team? They could've given 'The Rock & Sock Connection' a run for their money back in the old days...

              I'm afraid I don't have a n'grath story for you, but here's a little tale regarding one of his relatives;

When I was just a kid, sometime between 1980 and 1983, I saw another kid playing with some cool looking plastic action figures. I asked him what they were and he kindly explained that these were Star Wars toys. I instantly became a fan of them, and the figure which (in my opinion) looked the coolest, far cooler than any of the others, was called 4-LOM. (He had a sidekick called Zuckuss, and some years later, the names 4-LOM and Zuckuss were officially swapped. But at the time, he was definately called 4-LOM!)

Right away, I began saving my pocket-money for a 4-LOM of my own....

Many years later, as an adult, I was overjoyed to see almost a whole page's worth about 4-LOM and Zuckuss in the 50th issue, (the anniversary edition, no less!), of what was then the UK's official Star Wars magazine..., written by me!

Okay, it's not n'grath..., but there is a definate family resemblance! http://www.toysniper.com/media/00/a2...2bbfe37c_m.JPG
              Same forehead, same eyes....

                n'grath is... pleased!

Great story. Also, wonderful to have a column published in a printed magazine. There must be a whole host of insectoid SF characters. I had SW figures too, good memories!

                  That. Is. FANTASTIC!
I love the picture! I genuinely did laugh out loud! Thanks for brightening up an otherwise $#@!* of a day.

I always thought that 4-LOM must be a bumblebee underneath it all, because they are the ONLY cute insects; the teddy bears of entomology.

Well, doing this kind of thing makes my day at work slightly more enjoyable. The forums here provide me with some light relief from the office drudgery!

Yeah, I often tell my girlfriend that I'm off to spend time on "the Station", that usually makes her laugh. She must really love me, I guess I've been lucky at last!

                            Photos if it happens!

N'Grath will no doubt be dealing in shady black market first issues of golden age comics.
