  • Ricahrd Biggs

I was just watching the Emmies Awards and it came to a segment called "In Memeoriam".

Where was a mention of RICHARD BIGGS?

I mean hello we had people I have never even heard of because they were behind the scenes and not in front of the camera.

We had Michael Kamen (composer) and Jerry Goldsmith which a lot of people have never heard of or seen (except in credits).

They didn't even have John Ritter!!!

Wake up Hollywood and thank the stars who create most of your jobs and make part of what is called entertainment.

It's actually been quite a while since John Ritter died - he was probably put up in last year's Emmy show.

I can't answer for Richard Biggs though.

EDIT - Actually, maybe I can? Since he was formerly (and probably more well known) on a soap and all that, might they instead memorialize him on the Daytime Emmy award show? I wouldn't think it would matter, but there's no accounting for Emmy taste anyway.

Well in the end it dose'nt matter what the industry thinks of them, what is important is that we the fans remember them and never forget the contribution that they have given to there art.

what's the saying- "it's not so important that we are remembered by our peers so much as it is those whos lives were touched by ours"

Actually, I thought he went back to soap opera (Guiding Light, IIRC) after B5, so it was probably the area he was working in at the time of his death.

Nice sentiments, One to Come. Well put.
