    B5 Theme for your cell phone.....

    Just out of interest, and I am sorry if this only works for people within the UK, I have just downloaded a polyphonic version of the the season 1 B5 theme tune onto my Sony-Ericsson 610 cell phone. It is really quite listenable. It is on the virginmobile web page if you're interested. It is at www.virginmobile.co.uk

      Oh, drat!! It's not on the US site yet and the UK site doesn't list my phone. Thanks for the info, though. Must mean it may be here soon.

        I'd rather have the season 5 theme, myself!
        I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains. Go anywhere in the station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged. Long after we are gone .. our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains. But I will admit .. that the part of me that is going .. will very much miss the part of you that is staying.

          I think I'd be more likely to go for the Coming of Shadows Theme.

          Any cell phone I might get (I don't have one yet) is likely to be Work Related...

            I not only have a Babylon 5 theme as my ringtone already (I got it from a midi ringtones site)...my main screen is the BabCom logo.

            So, do I have the geekiest cellphone, or what?

              Maybe not for long, Amy. Over on the Virgin (UK) site they have a B5 logo available, too.

                I wonder why Virgin is getting interested in Babylon 5? Is it just the DVD sales? Or is something else pushing them?

                  To really qualify as geeky, you must get a screen capture of either the StellarCom or BabCom screens, format it for your phone, and load it up. I'm still the winner!

                      I can certainly e-mail you a .jpg of the BabCom screen (although it's widely available on B5 image sites), but I can't help you with the uploading process. I bought the same model phone that a friend had, because he already had the formatting software (to make the image compatible with the phone), and the data cable.
