  • Lol, looking at the avatar of JDSValen, with Boxleitner and the teddy bear, jolted a memory.

I met Peter David once, it was in the local Borders Books and he was very personable. He laughed when I mentioned I'd heard he handed out comic books at Halloween.
That was ages ago and he was wearing one of those B5 jackets only a few ever received.

About a year ago my former training partner, who is now a personal trainer, mentioned he had trained Peter David in the past. Lol, I made him promise to say to PD, "I hear there's a funny story about you and a teddy bear". I don't think he's trained PD recently, but I'll try to remember to ask him about that.

Thank you! It's been a while since I'd seen the story.

Google was amazingly helpful. Though I had a bit of a hunch.

            • McDonald's All Day Breakfast Menu TV Commercial, 'Celebration'
No longer will customers have their mornings ruined at the McDonald's drive-thru because they were a few minutes late. Twitter users are reading tweets with hashtags like "#boomshakalakalaka" and "#bae" while expressing their excitement through goal hand emojis and more. They're signaling the arrival of all-day breakfast from McDonald's, complete with emoji's, hashtags, favorites and retweets.

              6 seconds into commercial

              • I play checkers with purple and green pieces.

There's a hotel called Sheraton here. I noticed that if I sit in the right place a street sign covers part of the name so it looks like "Sher-sign-n".

I have a hard time spelling century since I keep mixing it up with Centauri. Just now I wrote it with an "i" at the end and got red lines under it.

                • Learning Kodak 'Preps' imposition software used at the printing plant I work at, I noticed that once a template is created, the program outlines the original pages in green.

I had to laugh when I found that copies of those pages are automatically outlined in.. you guessed - purple!

So happy that you're okay! I'm sure we were all horrified at the news.

That's cool about the logo - thanks for sharing.

                      • It was very close indeed. The subway line i was on half an hour before. We heard the bomb but no one knew what that noise was. Next to us a building is being torn down. We thought something went wrong there.

Too close! And I'm sure getting home must have been a nightmare with the subways closed.

                            • The main thing is that you're okay. I'm really glad that you checked in. Very best wishes to everybody there during this trying and scary time.

                              • We were watching an episode of Friends, specifically The One With Chandler's Dad. Not only was there a character called Mr. Garibaldi, but there was a character with the stagename Helena Handbasket (get it?). I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some writer snuck that in there as a really obscure reference; God knows I've done the same in my writing.

Most likely it's a coincidence proving that B5 is everywhere, even when people don't know it.
