Is that a true fact or a real fact?

Also ... The Sakai Project developed the Virtual Learning Environment I have been using at university.

It doesn't matter, we want "goodfacts" not "realfacts"

            • The guy, that's Mark Rolston.

Rolston played PFC M. Drake in Aliens (1986), Hans in Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Stef in RoboCop 2 (1990), Bogs Diamond in The Shawshank Redemption (1994), J. Scar in Eraser (1996), Chief Dennis Wilson in Daylight (1996), Wayne Bryce in Hard Rain (1998) and Special Agent in Charge Warren Russ in Rush Hour (1998). Rolston also acted in Martin Scorsese's 2006 film The Departed and the television horror film Backwoods. Many of Rolston's screen roles are villains due to his trademark icy stare. He also co-starred in 2008's Saw V and 2009's Saw VI.

In 1994, he portrayed convicted killer "Karl Mueller" in the Babylon 5 episode "The Quality of Mercy
              "
I just read that "Weaver, 'Alien' cast reprising roles in new game", and I was googling images.

Trivia: The young woman in that photo playing Vasquez, that's Jenette Goldstein. She, along with two other Alien cast members, would appear in the movie by Kathryn Bigelow, James Cameron's spouse, the cult classic, Near Dark.

              I love that movie.

Lol, and I just now remember that the soundtrack is by Tangerine Dream. Presumably Christopher Franke was still a member at the time.

              • Mark Rolston was a guest star on Sledge Hammer! in the episode they parodied the Dirty Harry movie Magnum Force, he was one of the police that was murdering the criminals instead of arresting them.

Are you a fan of that quirky show? The creator dialed it up to the max with a recent, seriously deranged, mini-series.

I am, and I will look into this, I haven't heard of it. I have both of the dvd sets for Sledge Hammer! and I watch them frequently, I used to watch it every Thursday when it was on ABC.

BTW, just to tie things back to B5 (a little), the creator Alan Spencer was also behind Hexed, a movie that starred Claudia Christian.

                    • I was explaining some nuances of grammar in Swedish to a classmate yesterday the valid ways of putting different clauses, as an exercise we were required to start with a particular clause. He did not get it kept asking me why it was this way. I replied, almost unthinkingly "Understanding is not required, only obedience"
"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

That's something I have to remind myself of every once in a while, too.

                              • A couple of times, in forums dedicated to video games, I've posted that Green Drazi and Purple Drazi video.

You'd likely find it hard to credit the bickering that occurs between fans/users of nVidia video cards (The Green Team) and those of AMD cards (The Red Team). If JMS had used Red instead of Purple the universe might explode because the analogy would be too perfect.
