    Sounds scandalous. That's our Claudia!

I'm kind of gun shy after her last book.

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

The "geeks" pamphlet about her trips to conventions, or the Ivanova fiction book?

Both, but primarily that Geek book/pamphlet.

Well, the number of pages is improved and the price is much better.

Are we supposedly talking genuine autobiography, here? Because that Amazon write-up mentions a 20 year on-and-off relationship with Dodi Fayed. Given that he died in the Paris car crash that also killed Princess Diana in 1997, Claudia would have been around 12 when that 20 year relationship began.

So ... is this some fictionalised account of her life, or is there another billionaire in the world calle Dodi Fayed, or is the Amazon write-up just a bit off?

Or am I just missing the joke somewhere along the way?

I guess the question is who writes those Amazon blurbs - I'm pretty sure it's not the author. If she left home and went to hollywood at 17 as reported, more likely that would have been when/where she met him.

I'm more impressed that Neil Gaiman gave her a cover quote.
