experiencing a Lennier-Sheridan elevator moment here...

                    Zhujjh??

(Honestly, I have no idea what that means.)

Let me first state that I am a straight woman, and do not care what anyone's sexual preference is unless I plan to have sex with them.

But why is it that overtly sexual comments, including RAPE, are excepted at this forum from gay men, that would not be accepted from straights?

Now I know this was just wordplay, and I DO have a sense of humor, but it does NOT include a discussion of rape as a joke. Remember how angry most of us were when TNT wanted Dureena to be raped?

I have noticed that some (you know who you are) use this forum for gay e-flirting, but become incensed when anyone calls them on it, or condemns their lifestyle. There are PLENTY of sites for that, gay, straight, bondage, etc. The only hetero flirting I have seen here is MUCH milder and less offensive. Rape is a crime of violence, whether it is committed against women or men, by women or men.

I know I'll probably be flamed for this, but could you kindly keep a lid on it... or at least leave the violent stuff out?

You're probably right. I have to admit that I'm used to the horsing around here so that went over my head.

Here I'm afraid I completely disagree. The person (only one that I recall, anyway) who was flamed intimated that gay people are better off dead on more than one occassion. There's nothing wrong with flirting as long as, as you correctly pointed out, it's not of a violent or extremely graphic nature.

                              Consider yourself flamed.

No offense was intended, it was a joke...and no one's said you can't be just as crude, rude and socially unacceptable as you wish to be on here as well.

Believe me...it's not just the gay guys. You say you have no problems with gay people, but given how you singled us out and got a bit pissy, you seem to have some.

Believe me such language and jests are commonplace among all of my friends, both gay and straight. You see, no one was actually suggesting rape, it's the sarcastic irony of the joke. So your comparison to JMS being asked to use it in CRUSADE is like "apples and oranges" as JMS would say.

I will not necessarily curb my free speech, at least in this case. Had you PM'd me or Omahastar and talked about it in such manner as to say, "I'm a bit offended, is there any way you guys could cut back on such talk." Well, then I probably would've suggested such to everyone. Now...

No one meant to offend; sorry you were, but I won't censor myself.

                                No argument here lady.

Frankly, theres only two people on this site that I'm aware of who regularly throw around vauge/explicit carnal refferences. Thats including the straight people.
