Given Fox put out $65-70 mil for ALIEN V. PREDATOR (and a slightly higher amount for the original X-MEN) I think a WB budget somewhere in the mid-60s-mid-70s is reasonable to expect. IIRC, the more recent Star Trek films cost around the same, and Paramount is notoriously tight-fisted when it comes to their ST film productions.

JMS's latest comment re: DVD sales struck me as a bit tongue-in-cheek, though of course it's always hard to read tone in a post. It's very clear, though, that the DVDs have sold extraordinarily well.

This is the reason why many of us have that nanoguy in our "ignore" list (click on his profile, then at the bottom you'll have the choice to add him to your ignore list). Andrew, I've always stated that we do not know why JMS is going to be in the UK, and we won't until JMS tells us why.

I've always contended that TMoS is only ONE possible reason for his time there.

However, given the possibilities for what it could be, TMoS seems the most logical given what we know at the moment. Not that TMoS is shooting there, since I don't think it is...but some element could be being produced there causing his presence "off-and-on."

Like I said, the most logical conclusion, given the small amount of information we have.

Since that info is so tiny, the conclusion should be taken with the proper grainage of salt. Therefore, I have never stated with any concrete certainty exactly why JMS will be spending even one second in the UK.
