    hmm this sounds very interesting and I very much look forward to watching Babylon 5 documentary that I would definitely purchase. I also have my fingers crossed for a continuation of the original series or the original universe with whatever live-action production takes place.

    Why isn't Patricia kickstarting this? (I mean using Kickstarter.)

    I definitely would buy a B5 documentary. A new addition to my B5 DVDs is always a good thing. Hopefully, it will also be in stores.

    So....SOME movement in the B5 universe, albeit small...but looks like it might not be lost in space after all...but what IS the ultimate aim of the documentary, will dawn a new beginning?

    Thought I'd contribute something relevant to the discussion. In the long, enjoyable night I and several other fans spent in Claudia and Pat's company, PAt whipped out a video camera and had each of us ask two questions, for inclusion in the documentery, as one of my Q's was about possible Lesbian relations between them, I thought I would check with Claudia if it was PG-13 or what. She replied "Pat says it's R rated".

    With that intriguing titbit, I shall wander away from ye for now

    Phaze
    on the "to a definite extent there is more of Claudia as I see her now in the character of Ivanova, her mannerisms, voice and personality I think came to define who she was" ID

As some of us have already mentioned in various threads over the years, Babylon 5 was never really promoted that well. If it was, it would've been far bigger than it was and we would've had a few motion pictures by now. Perhaps that is something that will be mentioned in this new documentary.
    I think JMS himself made a comment a while back that if they can make a Brady Bunch movie, they can make a Babylon 5 movie.
    Consider myself as one who will purchase this new documentary, if it actually gets released on either Bluray and/or DVD and not just a television documentary that will only be viewed by a small handfull of us.
    I was chatting with an Austrailian fan of FareScape who said;
    "And oddly enough, the show never really aired in a decent timeslot down here. Always late night. You figure we could support a locally made drama but we didn't"
    Is this the curse of exceptional work? At least B5 lasted longer than one season.

    I fear to hope that the possible success of this would be a further push to get something new in B5 created, but I'm certainly interested in this for itself.

    BTW, Happy Valen's Day!
