The script was called 'The Exercise of Vital Powers' and it appeared in Vol. 15 of the script books. It was JMS reaction to a prank played on him by Andreas and Peter at a con (was it Wolf 359?, my memory may be sketchy on this). They got the audience to not applaud when he came on stage.

The joke script featured Londo and G'Kar entering into a romantioc relationship. G'Kar undergoes a gender change (echoes of the original arc for Delenn here), and he gets romantically involved with Londo. They even spend a night of passion together!

It was circulated to the cast as if it was a real script. JMS even had the FX department start work on the required make up / prosthetics to make the generder change possible. So, at the time, it looked like it was absolutely 'for real'!

Also, what alien race does the ship in this picture belong to? The biggest one in the front on the left side. Vertical looking wings with a yellow looking logo on the side? I been wondering for awhile now.

Which may not seem like a huge thing except that JMS was terrified of performing in front of the huge audiences back then.

Were you guys able to see the picture I posted? If so, I'm still wondering about that ship which race it belongs to?

I been wondering lately, considering when the film "In the beginning" was made, I think between season 4 and 5. I'm wondering if Bruce has been wearing a wig and then took it off for the movie so he'll look younger. Considering there seems to be a big difference in his hair style in the movie and in the series. And I"m not sure hair grows back to that style that fast does it?

The hairstylist just gave him a crew cut for the movie. Season five filming started I think about two months after that, plenty of time to regrow it.

I've been wondering. In the episode where Garibaldi lead Sheridan into a trap in season 4, did Garibaldi also help beat up Sheridan? Or did he just stand by and watch the baddies beat the crap out of the Captain?

Been heavily into B5 - Crusade again recently. Damn them for aborting this little baby. "Damn them all to Hell!" - George Taylor.

Its been years and I'm still p!$$ed-off about it. Can't imagine what JMS went through....

And I was looking forward to seeing Excalibur cropping up in episodes of Legends of the Rangers..., and then that didn't happen either!

Anyway! Does anyone know, (perhaps from the script books?), what Captain Gideon's Explorer-Class ship was called please? It was seen in War Zone....

Has anyone seen the watch phone commercial? Neat little montage from spy/sci-fi shows, including two from B5 (both Sinclair).

It's unfortunate that the ad is misleading, though. The deal costs $300 and isn't independent; it is a glorified and upgraded bluetooth worn on your wrist.

Yeah, it's the new Samsung Galaxy Gear Watch. While a step in the right direction, I'm not comfortable either. Though with a little more R&D, a watch size phone would be a feasible alternative. Maybe the watch companies will kick in with some of the mobile phone makers to get something going.
