Your favourite G'Kar moment(s)

Surely this one has to be popular! We all love G'Kar (RIP Andreas my friend), but what would you single out as his best lines/scenes/quotes? Hard to tie them down, there are so many. These would be some of mine:-

The "ant" speech in "Signs and portents"

His defiant speech just before being relieved of his ambassadorial title and ejected from the council on the fall of his world to the Centauri

"Do you want to be president?"
"Yes."
"Then place your hand on the book and say I do."
"I do."
"Great. Congratulations. Now let's get out of here!"

Buying Londo a drink just before war broke out

"I want the aisle seat!"

Oh, there are so many! Where would we have been without this wonderful character and his invaluable contribution to the series?

G'kar had many weighty speeches and I could listen to that voice recite the alphabet and be spellbound. But perhaps my favorite G'Kar moments were his lighter ones. Like from "Legend of the Rangers":

Minister Kafta, this ship is being
held together by little pieces of
wire and good intentions. If we
land in this condition, assuming we
do not have an unpleasant encounter
with the ground on our way down, I
doubt very much they could take off
again. They would be trapped with
us, and the ship looking for them

Some people didn't care for that G'Kar but I loved seeing him after he'd jettisoned his anger and been relieved of the weight of responsibility he felt for his people.

The best scenes were between G'Kar and Londo, they had such a naturalness about them, great acting!!!

Just watching his reaction to that one is a precious moment.

My favourite are the last few scenes G'Kar had with Londo before the keeper was installed. When G'Kar forgave Londo, it showed just how far he'd come.

It's true that the elevator scene is fantastic. I particularly love the way Londo shouts "Is anyone out there?" and G'Kar keeps calling as if there is. Priceless indeed, and so good to see that JMS avoided the cheesy enemies-get-trapped-and-have-to-resolve-their-differences-and-become-friends idea. Classic.

While I have enjoyed and treasured many of the aforementioned G'kar moments, the one that I can still hear when not even thinking about it intentionally is the

".... But I will admit that the part of me that going will very much miss the part of you that is staying." speech.

It rings true, and I knew it years before it was ever said, just not so elegantly put. That part of G'Kar thankfully stays with me.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Those two are amongst the B5 scenes during which I laughed the hardest.

The way he handled the fall of Narn and the order that he request asylum on B5. Andreas walk and his mannerisms showed how distasteful he found having to ¿cower¿ on B5 while his brothers were fighting and dying for their freedom. You could see the disgust in his face... Brilliant.

Then the next scene with his quiet yet clear purpose he told Londo they would be free. Best speech EVER!!!

There's a great moment when Vir attempts to apologize for Londo and the Centauri's invasion and G'Kar cuts his hand in front of Vir and shows him the blood dripping for each Narn death and asks Vir how he can apologize to them. Chilling.
