    "The Rules of the Game"

I liked the Max angle and the Gideon/Lochley team-up. I feel that Crusade wasn't that great of a show and there are very few episodes that I'd classify as good.

If between 2261 and 2267 the Technomages hadn't figured out a way to make their own implants, no. The Shadow way of making shadowtech involved the sacrifice of other sentient life, as a consumable food/energy source for the shadowtech (all shadowtech, be it ships or mage implants). Unless that was a shortcut (The Shadows didn't care about the sentients they were sacrificing.), and the Technomages found a better way, I doubt there would be any more mages created.

Guilt that he, a member of Psi Corps., helped the resistance blow up Psi Corps. headquarters.

I quite like the music during the scene where Galen lays Isabelle's ashes to rest. In fact, there are a lot of points during Crusade that I really like the music. More examples would be where Gideon is walking away from Dureena's quarters in "The Needs of Earth" and Gideon recording the messages for the families of the two fallen crewmen in "Appearances and Other Deceits."

Of course, there is also the noise at the end of "Ruling from the Tomb."

I like the dialogue of "Visitors from Down the Street," and how JMS did The X-Files in reverse (i.e. from the alien's perspective), but the alien head prosthetics are what do it in for me. The tendrils remind me of artificial fishing worms , and because of that look incredibly fake/ridiculous, to me. Ditto for the alien's finger motions in "Appearances and Other Deceits." In contrast, D'Argo's tendrils on "Farscape" jad a stiffer, less jiggly, more like stiff latex kind of motion, and I have no problem with D'Argo's head prosthetics.

I, too, like "War Zone" quite a bit, not all of it, but ~95% of it, yes.

I'm sure I've probably told this before but 'Path' was one of the unfinished episodes JMS showed here in Orlando after the show was cancelled but before it had aired. He told me later in the autograph line that TNT *hated* that episode because "Nobody cares about all that backstory!"

I'd have to go with The Path of Sorrows, Appearances and Other Deceits, and Each Night I Dream of Home. TPOS was a good ep for all the flashback stuff. AAOD had Mr. Welles, so how can you go wrong with that? Eilerson was also awesome in this ep. ENIDOH was sorta like Signs and Portents for me. I already loved the show up to this point, and this just cemented it.

I haven't watched war zone in years. I agree with the x-files episode. it's a little bit over the top, and since x-files isn't really culturally relevent anymore it really dates the show and it doesn't hold up over time. At the time though, a different story.

Tough to pick. I'd say it's between the following:
    "The Path of Sorrows"
    "The Well of Forever"
    and
    "The Needs of Earth"

It'd be much easier picking a least favorite, "Ruling from the Tomb."

FWIW, I wrote and posted this before I read Posts 2 thru 4 in this thread.

Strangely enough, after rewatching, I think I enjoyed a non-jms episode first. Well of Forever really delves nicely into the character of Galen and who he is...and this time when I found myself watching the show that's all I seemed to be anticipating was more Galen development. He's such a deep and interesting character even though I don't like him sometimes.

I like "Path of Sorrows" a lot since it delves into some background, and "Appearences and Deceits" is one of my favorites. The uniform story makes me laugh, and I think the animation of the bodies in the ship is pretty good for the time. My girlfriend's favorite is "The Needs of Earth"; she thought it was a good point about saving culture from destruction.

They're all so different, it's hard to pick a favorite. "The Path of Sorrows" is definitely up there, though.

As for Dureena, I seem to recall that she'd be getting some powers, possibly via the sword that she was supposed to get at some point. I think JMS said something about her going down a darker path.
