I am almost done watching the series again. I will be starting season 5 come Sunday. Season 1 not withstanding, it all looks great on my HD tv's. But it is still the subject matter that shines the brightest!!!

Yeh - Im only using a 32" 1080p LCD telly, But i'm upscaling it through my PS3 and (although in some sequences you really see the grain in the picture) on the whole it is very nice.

Hi Gav,
I too have a 42" LCD TV (1080p) but mine is a SAMSUNG. Now I am not here to compare the finer aspects of TV technicalities, but just to say that with a decent up-scaling DVD player B5 on your new shiny TV set will look very passable indeed.
Yes the FX shots willl be the big downer but otherwise it will be very good, age and technology considered.
You just wait until you pump actual HD content through your it though (if you are not already), it will blow you socks off.
I know it is the 'other' WWE that I am refering to but our son loves watching pro wrestling in HD and these guys look like they could be in the same room as you!

WOW-Messages from Earth & WWE .
Well, the new TV arrived and to properly run it in, I went
with Messages from Earth & War Without End (both parts).
Yeah, okay the FX aren't up to say... Transformers, BUT
considering when & how they were done, they still hold up pretty well (The New Doctor Who looks amazing too).
Now I'm organizing a B5 marathon for a few NON B5ers
(the WIFE is going interstate for a week
Now I gotta get The Lost Tales to complete the set again!
I haven't been this excited about watching B5 since the
DVDs came out.
Cheers & HAPPY VEIWING,
Gav

Yeah I love watching B5 on my 60 inch wide screen. The biggest downfall of larger screens though is that you can really see the grainy tecture of many of the shots as opposed to watching it on a smaller screen.

I must have good luck with TVs. I've never had one die. I always feel guilty when, after 10 or 12 years with the same TV, I want to upgrade and my current one is still working.
