  • jms on the Babylon Podcast

If you missed the Babylon Podcast live feed this week, you missed the interview of the year.

If you are not a regular show listener but a B5 fan, this is the show to download.

Last night on the live feed Hosts Summer Brooks and Tim Callender spoke with jms for over two hours ranging on topics from Lensmen, to growing up on the move, to the chances for a B5 Movie.

I like to think of this as the jms speech for those of us that couldn't make it to MIT.

Some of the items discussed tread over familiar ground, other things were discussed or revealed in ways I had not heard before.

It will be released over two weeks (6/25 part 1, and 7/1 part 2) due to the length of the interview.

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

And so did I - 3am is not the most convenient time to get up for the live feed, so I have to make do with a few times per year. At least I have a recording.... just started to listen, but will have to wait until tomorrow for the rest.

What I have heard until now is *really good*

Thanks to a friend sending me the recording, I've listened to the podcast. I don't have time to do any transcribing but I strongly urge folks to listen to this over the two weeks.

Just my luck, I'll be in the middle of moving and will probably miss them. Maybe someone can post the highlights.

You don't have to download them in some limited timeframe. All the episodes right back to number 0 (the preview show) can be downloaded from the podcast's website.

                Oh.
                My.
                Kosh.

And I missed it! But I am so excited that jms finally made it to the podcast! *refrains from jumping up and down*

Does anyone have a link to a recording of the live feed? I'd love to have the edited and non-edited version.

I'd appreciate a PM too, if possible.

For some reason, PM's ain't working right now. I got in touch with babylonlurker via Twitter.

I haven't even heard half of the interview yet, but it's amazing already. The recording will get me through two weeks without the podcast and then I'll be able to listen to both edited parts back to back.

Yes, I have heard the full 2 hours now, it is just amazing. You know, the interview, being so long will be released in two parts with one week in between.
