Before that event, Sinclair, Sakai and 2 others (I think) take out some shadow operation. At that point, Sakai is lost in the past.
in one of the B5 comics, when Sheridan and the crew find (the now derelict) B4 they come across a personal log entry from Sinclair\Valen.

in it he says; "i`ve found her", as i don`t think he means Zathras the only one he can be referring to is Catherine Sakai.

It sounds like you are misconstrueing people going back in time with Sinclair.

In WWE pt II, Sinclair and Zathras (no, the other one) go back.

Wow! Guess maybe I need to pick up a few B5 books to get the story straight! I had no idea that anyone else went back in time with Sinclair. Thanks for chiming in on a comic-related question.

    You are forgotting something .
Last page of the novel , in a note given to Marcus after "Gray 17":

He opened it carafully . Inside was an unsigned note that read: "From both of us , our thanks and friendship . Continue to dream that better future ... where perhaps we'll meet again."

In To Dream in the City of Sorrows, it's revealed that Catherine Sakai (from season 1, Sinclair's love) was lost in the same time rift that Sinclair later uses to go back and become Valen. She had joined the Rangers to follow Sinclair, and tumbled into the rift during a mission to keep the Shadows from tampering with it. When and where she went, or even if she survived, is all debatable. It also naturally casts Sinclair's willingness to go back in time in a whole new light.

In the book, Kosh offers the only clue to her whereabouts. Sinclair asks if there's any chance of seeing her again. Kosh is silent to the point of not answering, but finally says "Perhaps." Whether Kosh actually knew anything of substance, or only knew Sinclair would also be going through the rift, is also greatly debatable.

The "I've found her." is the only line anywhere in the B5 'verse that refers to her final fate.

started a topic In Valen's Name [Spoilers]

    In Valen's Name [Spoilers]

I figured this has more relevance to the B5 Board than the comics board, but apologies if I'm incorrect. I just finished reading this comic tonite, and I must be too tired to understand the last few captions.

As Delenn, Garibaldi, and crew watch Babylon 4 disintegrate into the atmosphere of some planet, the final entry of Sinclair/Valen's log recordings is heard:

"And as for me...I've received my own reward...because I've found her. At long last...I've found her..."

What does Sinclair/Valen mean by "I've found her"? Is the message that is playing the same recording that Valen gave to the Tak'cha and gave them instructions to give the recording to Delenn in 1000 years? If so, maybe "I've found her" means that Valen's message finally reached Delenn? Of course, as Valen is about to hand over the recording to the Tak'cha, a vorlon convinces him not to turn over the recording for fear of altering the future and thereby effecting the past as well ( oooh, I'm dizzy now ). Anybody want to take a crack at who is being referred to in the "I've found her" quote.

BTW, In Valen's Name is a fantastic bookend story written by JMS that sums up the Babylon Squared, War Without End storyline very nicely and well worth the read.

    Thanks!
