Bruce Boxleitner (Heroes SPOILERS)

Bruce showed up on the Heroes Premiere Monday night. No beard, as a governor, with Ali Larter in tow as his aide / bunkmate.

Of course it was too short an appearance. I hope it's a recurring role.

yeah he is a reoccurring character. just do a google news for BOxleitner and Heroes. he s supposed to be major role...at least for this season

I was disappointed that we didn't see much of him this week but I'm looking forward to more. One nice thing about Heroes is that the characters are just about always nicely complex. Probably an actor's dream job. Even better, you can often get killed off and not lose your job!

I think no beard is Bruce's preference. jms was the one who had him grow a beard for season 5 of B5. (well starting around the end of season 4)

Ah! Bruce on Heroes, more super heroes/villians like one starting with D on Smallville. At last watching TV series is getting fun again.

Yeah I sat bolt upright and exclaimed at the screen "Holy shit Bruce Boxleitner is in this episode!!" when his name came up in the opening credits. My girlfriend was not impressed and preceded to joke about my love of that 'Crap soap opera B5'...

Sounds like reasonable grounds for a breakup. Now I wouldn't expect her to shave her head, or put on a G'Kar mask, but you shouldn't disrespect the last best hope for peace.

I can certainly understand not liking something but I'll never understand the impulse to disparage and belittle something that the other person cares about.

Back to Bruce, though...one thing I noticed was that his voice didn't sound the same. The gravel-y quality it has seemed to be missing but he didn't really have that much dialogue. I hope he gets a good part and isn't just a foil for the Nikki-doppelganger character.

Back to Heroes.. I already deleted the premier from my DVR, so I can't go back and check, but did we get a scene (and I missed it) giving us the proper disposition of Nikki, Michah and his cousin yet?

Not in the premier, but in the second episode we see what happened to Nikki/Jessica and we see Micah. Don't think we've seen the cousin yet.

And no, no sign of the copycat cousin yet. They probably dropped the char.
About Bruce: I also thought his voice was bit lighter than usual. But it sure feels good to see him again.
The lack of his TV presence in the past would however not have made me watch that awful series again in which he played alongside Kate Jackson as a housewife freelance agent. *shivers*

I hope Bruce's character gets to have a power. One thing I like is the variety of powers they've come up with so far.

I'm glad to hear that Bruce will have a regular role in Heroes. However, not to sound pesimistic, but would this hinder his ability to play Sheridan again (due to conflicting shooting scheduals) if by the wildest stroke of luck Warner Bros. got off their butts and comissioned a B5 movie?
