Thought I would start a thread for the smaller characters who gave a lot to the story.

I think the Regent was great. In the first season he was just a minister who gave Londo his orders. Then he became a comedy character. But in the 5th season (when under the control of the Drak). Damian London did a really good job. His death has a big effect on the viewer and you can see Londo has gained a lot of respect for him. In the comentary for Moments of fire and shadow everyone is quite in the scene where he turns off the defence network. They just want to watch his preformance.

Neroon was another great character who gave a lot to the show. Anyone think of other smaller characters they like.

I'm not sure of the actor, but there was one who played a Drazi (unnamed) a few times, especially in the council chambers. I really liked him.

    Would Corwin fit this category?

Adira. If she'd stayed I don't think that Londo would have gone down the dark path that he did.

Bester. A great villain who genuinely believed in what he was doing.

Ta'Lon. I'd've enjoyed seeing him trying to fill G'Kar's shoes.

Number One/Tessa Haloran. Smart, no-nonsense and generally cool lady.

you have to mention Refa. He repeatedly pulled Londo back in every time he thought he could get out of his dark place. REfa was responsible for putting Cartagia on the throne. i would like to have seen more on his character.

I really liked Katherine Sakai in the first season, too. Helped ground Sinclair. I liked their relationship, too.

Neroon was my favorite recurring character, and I thought it was a shame they cast John Vickery (and that distinctive voice) also as Mr Welles, because that broke suspension of disbelief for the Neroon character for quite a while.

I also liked Brother Theo (Louis Turenne) a LOT and would love to have seen Turenne do all the Draal stuff as well (had his health permitted). Somehow John Shuck never had the gravitas, in my mind, to play that role.
I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains. Go anywhere in the station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged. Long after we are gone .. our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains. But I will admit .. that the part of me that is going .. will very much miss the part of you that is staying.

Bester, Morden, Neroon, Lorien, Cartagia and Refa, in my opinion, are very important, very well written (and very well performed) recurring characters in B5. They all added significant depth and elements to the overall story.

Well, but of course I also like Brother Theo, Corwin, Zathras, Ta'Lon, Sakai and Nr. One.

Do the two Kosh-Vorlons fall into this category? Then I have to add them, too, of course.

I agree that John Schuck's Draal could have been much better and was just too far away from his predecessor's performance.

I also liked William Edgars and Wade, while I have to admit that I've never been a big fan of Lise (character and actress).

What I really enjoyed is that they kept the same actor for President Clark, although he only has a few scenes and is merely a background character.

On a sidenote, I was never really fond of the actors that portrayed the various minor ambassadors, because especially those ambassador-riot-mass-scenes always feel a bit overacted and clichéed to me. But, well, of course not enough to dislike those important parts of one of my favorite scifi-shows.

Yeah, I liked him a lot too! It's totally unexplainable (for me anyway) but he was just very ... Believable. I think it was the voice.

And all of Wayne Alexander's characters. Lorien, the Drakh in S5 and best of all Sebastien. I'd love to see him star in something else but I see (according to imdb) he hasn't done much TV or film. Theatre?

                  Yes, more theatre than TV/film.

A "Mr. Sebastian"-SpinOff would have been cool.

I forgot two important characters in my previuos post:
Dukhat (who I liked very much),
and Byron (who I... well, didn't like that much...).

Kim Strauss, perhaps? He played a lot of aliens on the show, including the lead Drazi in The Geometry of Shadows. He's brilliant and hilarious - the voice, and those eyes!

Just noted the typo in the title, and so can shift the focus a bit.

Garibaldi was cured, and then re-cured, of his alcoholism. Was anyone else "recured?" Ivanova was scheduled to be, before she jumped ship. Sheridan was cured of his tendency to prejudge people in Passing through Gethsemane but was that a cure, or a recure?

This could be more interesting than the clear meaning of the OP. Who else needed two black eyes before they could see?
