Season 5 DVD Release in the UK

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a date for the release of Season 5 DVD's in the UK?

I have a multi region player, but would rather to have all my Babylon 5 DVD's from the same region. But I am growing very impatient.

..or you can buy it on Amazon.com for another region (if your TV copes with NTSC and your DVD player can cope with multi region).

I actually own more region 1 dvds that region 2. But when Babylon 5 Season One was released it was out in region 2 first so of course I bought that. But once I get a series in one region I like to keep to the same region, very anal I know.

Wooo Hoooo!! .Just recieved my S5 DVD set from the US. Can't wait to get home from work to start watching.

Any one want to give me thier highlights of S5 (without spoiling of course)?

It's different. Different pacing, more personal than galactic. Some of my all-time favorite stand-alone episodes. Favorite opening sequence. Some bad singing. At least one more great speach for G'Kar and another incredibly touching moment for Londo. Sleeping in Light is probably the best episode of any television show ever.

Other than that, it's okay...;-)

To me, the season with the best opening credits is Season 4.

I'm with Jan in agreeing the Season 5 intro was most certainly the best, however I know most of the cast greatly prefered the season 3 intro, as do most people I know.

Speaking of music...sorta....my new favorite B5 music is the 'No Surrender, No Retreat Suite' on the S4 DVDs. Love it! It's probably tied with SiL now. Parts of In The Beginning are now in third place. Sure wish I could get it on CD!

Aaahhhh, watched the first two episodes and almost died laughing with G'Kars swearing in of Sheriden at the Presidential inauguration. Could this be a "B5 Classic Comedy Moment" (subject of a new thread perhaps)?

Not quite sure of Lockley quite yet...give it time. I know JMS must have gone to great lengths not to replace Ivanova with "like-for-like" but I can't help but see some similarities in character. Hey, I've only seen two eps so I guess I should give her more time.

No, I haven't dangitall. I just put it on replay on the TV sometimes and enjoy it that way. Maybe if all of the 'in spades' projects happen Chris Franke can be persuaded to do another 'Suite' CD.

Also, obtainable are Ivoniva's god speeches (among many, many others), music from ''The Face of the Enemy'' (in the bar, reminded me of Gangsters Paradise), a moment in ''Sleeping in Light'', and other jaw-dropping moments in the show.

So far I've managed to restrain myself from listening to the scenes I havent yet watched (barely). My resolve is waining though.....

I've decided to wait and complete my collection in Region 2. While I wait an eternity for the final season and movie collection to be released are there any good B5 Novels out which will not spoil season 5 and all the movies except "In the beginning"?
