  • Expert on the B5 novels?

From Captain Jaclyn of the Scripts Team

The Babylon 5 Scripts Team is hiring a fan with extensive knowledge of the Babylon 5 novels (both Dell and Del Rey). You must have access to all the B5 novels and be available between now and Aug 15 for an assignment. This is a paid gig, so you can boast to your family and friends that your fandom has finally paid off...and may now even be tax-deductible.

Send an email to [email protected] with a paragraph of info about your "novel" backgrond and contact info including phone number. Put "Novel Expert" in your subject line.

Aw, too bad I have only managed to track down about half of the early novels! And that last Centauri Prime book still refuses to come down to an affordable price range!

Jan, Summer on the podcast definitely has the expertise and resources ... I'm forwarding this to her.

        Hey Jan,

Any speculation on what this why they're looking for a Novel Expert? Can we assume that the surprise they were talking about has something to do with this?

Even though she knows, she won't or can't answer yet. The "smile" announcement is set for 8/14. The deadline on this is 8/15. It may or may not be connected. Don't know yet.

I'm just curious if someone has been found.

And how is one vetted as an expert? Stump Jan?

Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

I believe a decision has been made. And no, the criteria *definitely* wasn't whether I could be stumped! I'd only read the Dell books once each as they came out and the trilogies only a couple of times at most. I know my limitations!
