On the b5scripts.com website, it says the store is closed other than Other Voices. There is a book coming up with an announcement on 8/14. No information other than that it will make B5 fans smile.

What is your theory on what it could be?

Perhaps it will include some Crusade story lines giving us some kind idea where that story was going. However I kind of doubt it, it seems that most of the stuff released these days are just rehashing of the original series with some side notes and pictures. I think that if JMS is not going to do anything with the universe ala movie or lost tales, he should write a book that completes the Crusade story line. Lets face it we deserve to get something with some real meat on it's bones for sticking by him all these years.

When asked about whether he'd include info about his plans for Crusade in the script books, JMS has said:

I haven't written that intro yet, but my sense is that yeah, I will go
into some of the detail on that aspect of it. There's certainly
nothing to be lost by doing so, and I think people will find it
interesting...because the show as it would have eventually morphed
resembled the show that began almost not at all.

However, he can't actually write any novel completing the Crusade story without paying a license fee (pretty substantial, I gather) to WB and getting their permission. It'd be unlikely they'd allow it for a print-on-demand project such as JMS is doing and JMS has also said that he has not plans for doing so, at least back in '06 at the Heroes Con.

Well I hope it is about Crusade as I really enjoyed the show minus two episodes and have never really heard why it got canned after 13 episodes. I also hope that it will include all the short stories JMS wrote for the B5 magazine because I lost most of them when I moved (and never read the G'Kar Lyta one.)

It would be cool to also get a run down on Legend of the Rangers, The Memory of Shadows and that Garabaldi story that was removed from Lost Tales.

My hope is that its an anthology of the short stories. That or the announcement of a Crusade Script Book Series. That'd be good for another 3-4 books.

The Crusade books, and the Quote books have been mentioned as probable projects, and I think we will probably see both,... eventually.

I'm with JDS Valen hoping for the collected short stories.
